This is the third time I have ordered from this place and this is the third time and I?m disappointed. The first time my order... was cancelled by the restaurant. The second time the order was OK; and the third time, I paid for $2.49 for sweet potato friesand I barely got half of the fries in my container. I will no longer be ordering from this place. I ordered the Bacon cheese burger combo with onion rings and a strawberry milkshake. The onion rings were nice and crispy and... tender on the inside. Rings were better than any others i have had. The strawberry shake was most definitely strawberry. Ireally enjoyed that. The hamberger was very good. Over all the meal was excellent and most definitely will be back. We were excited to try this new Halal spot in Kanata. Place is nice and spacious for a burger spot, service was friendly, food... was ok nothing special. My friend raved about this place having been twice before so tonight she brought me and what we had was mediocre. The meat was... bland and seemed to be of a lower quality. I had the chipotle burger and the one slice of tomato I had in it was almost whiteand the bun completely squished down. I wish would?ve taken pics. My friend also stated that the burgers tasted different thanthe previous times she had tried it. Maybe it was just an off night but I wouldn?t go out of my way to eat here again. I heard about Boardwalk from a friend on Instagram and was extremely excited to see that they offered a halal menu. When we... first arrived we were greeted with a very nice and colourful decor and the team members were so pleasant and helpful with anyand all questions we had about the menu. We ordered the Boardwalk Classic Burger, Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Beef BaconCheddar Ranch Fries, Chili Cheese Fries and last but not least a thick and cold Peanut Butter Milkshake. Let me just say thatthe beef is FRESH and never frozen. This burger was so delicious, seasoned to perfection and juicy - it was one of the bestburgers I've had. The chicken was so tender and juicy and I loved the secret sauce and the pineapple - every bite was soflavourful. The fries and their toppings were so generous and tasty. The toppings were all so abundant and full of flavour - Iloved the addition of the beef bacon to the dish. Last but not least the milkshake was unbelievably smooth and a wonderful wayto end the meal. My experience here was extremely pleasant and I would recommend anyone looking for a delicious burger and fryjoint to definitely visit Boardwalk Kanata! Just went to it today. It is a very clean restaurant, the tables, the restroom, and the kitchen is pretty clean.
