I ordered their curry chicken wrap, and I also had the same issues with having burnt, black stuff on my food even though they... just opened (as stated in another review too). Even though it was cooked, the curry was refrigerator cold and the cold temp madeit inedible. I was sad because was my first time here and I didn't finish my meal. Read more
Hours say they open at 8:30 but they did not open until 10. We were the first to order our food but somehow the third to get it... even though we only got two things. Terrible customer service, my girlfriend wanted to replace the honey in her Açaí bowl forpollen and the girl working said that?s an extra $1 and that only fruit can be replaced free of charge despite all the toppingsbeing the same price. I was the first person to order a panini but it still had burnt stuff on it so they just must have notcleaned the press from yesterday. Panini was cold and cheese was not melted and when I said something all they said they coulddo was put it in the microwave and couldn?t remake it or put it back on the press. Food is pretty tasty (based on the veggie croissant and green smoothie I've tried), too bad they lost me as a customer though. ... The hours say one thing, nothing posted in store but definitely not operating per the hours in Google..When I inquired, theresponse I received was that I must be confused about the location vs accountability/proper customer service .especially itturned out I'm not the one confused, MJ Cafe is. They don't open at 830am apparently and if you're not a regular, per thecashier here right now, you should know their hours by heart. Read more
The atmosphere is wonderful upon entering this establishment. The tables and chairs are great. Some of the decor (signs and wall... hangings) are a bitty cheeky and questionable. Whilst others are inspirational and tasteful. On to the service. They were quiteaccommodating to all of the additions and substitutions that I wanted to make to my bagel melt, but lackluster in communication,conversation and overall customer service. There were only 2 people on staff and one of the young ladies seemed to be a trainee.After ordering, there was a line of about 5 people after me. This young lady began working on my bagel and while staring says tothe next person in line, "are you ready to order?" To which they replied "yes." She slllllowllly continues working and thenproceeds to slowly make her way to the register to take the next order. Meanwhile, the other young lady is preparing anotherorder. They could have used an extra hand. Now, I will say, don't let the service deter you from giving their sandwiches andbagel melts a try. I ordered grilled chicken with pesto, cheddar cheese, apples, sprouts and avocado. It was delicious! Mycousin had a bagel melt and a smoothie... Wanted to grab a nice cup of coffee on our way up north and we are glad we did. Loved the coffe. My wife got the chocolate... macadamia coffe and it was great. We didn't purchase any food at this time but what we saw looked really good. Read more
