Used to be one of our favorite places to go for pizza but they went to frozen crust and apparently had some kitchen changes that... has led to every pizza being burnt all along the edges. We request lightly done, same results. Asked them to remake it and itwas uncooked in the center.. Had several bad experiences and won't be returning. Sad to see such a staple of the community goingdownhill but.. they should have kept the overhead of dough rollers! If we wanted frozen pizza we could get it from Walmart forway cheaper :-( Read more
Ordered a pizza for delivery. Had to call back to check the status, was told they had alot of deliveries, we apologize for it... being late. I said no problem. So when the pizza does come, it's cold. Called back and they said they'd send another one. I'mlike great. Then she says, we need the pizza back and the driver has to look at it before he gives me the pizza. I'm like ok,not a problem. But now you're taking a pizza back into your establishment that's been outside. There's still Covid out there. Read more
Delicious pizza, just as it ever was. Tried the hardest salad to pull off...the brussel sprout. The salad was huge and beautiful... and the brussel sprouts were sliced thin and raw, even harder to be good. It was delicious, one of the best salads I've everhad. I will be trying the other salads too. So far, best pizza in town. Read more
Today 7/3/22 I ordered the Meat Head pizza for delivery. The delivery driver was nice and polite as was the young lady that took... my order. I tipped him $5. However when I started eating it I discovered that it was burnt. I called to complain about it andyes the young lady offered to make another one. I declined the offer because I have worked in restaurants before and it's notalways taken well when you send food back. I told her that I won't be ordering from them anymore. I'm sure that my little bit ofmoney won't effect their bottom line but I think it should have been baked correctly the first time. In addition, what is upwith the cracker crust? Does any place in the Kankakee area use doughy crust? I experienced this same thing with three otherestablishments which I ordered from once and never again. If I remember correctly from my days of working in the snack shop atthe bowling alley, the cracker crust is cheaper. But it's definitely not better! The 2 star rating is for the delivery driver. I usually do not day much because we have eaten at Sammys for years but we were in there last night about 4:00 not busy in there... we ordered iced tea..o we do not have that and cannio make any..really?? Ok so we order again only busy with pick ups our pizzawas over cooked cut likeit was too muvh trouble and the bartender was telling her whole life story to someone in and out of thebuilding again not busy I was very diappointed. Greasy greasy greasy!!! Worst pizza ever.. idk if they know how to cook without all the grease but if they do please someone let... me know lbs...it would be good if it weren't for all the excess grease pouring off of the pizza. After a harrowing drive with car problems and two small Children, after stopping at a hotel nearby, Sammy?s saved the day. It... was late, we were hungry and pizza takes care of everyone. After one pizza place was closed, another was not answering and thethird said they didn?t deliver to our hotel, I was grateful for Sammy?s! They were nice, they delivered within an hour and thefood was great. Our bad day ended on a happy note! Read more
Order a thin crust pizza, that was burnt. I will never eat here again.
