Quite literally the worst experience I’ve had at a pizza restaurant. My family and I would have rather ordered delivery from a... papa john’s or pizza hut. Service was very slow, only one cashier working, and he was having a conversation with everyonethat checked out, we waited in line for 20 minutes just to check out. Had a drink special on a sign, however they were out ofit? They were also out of other drinks. Salad was actually pretty good, but how can you screw up a ceased salad? Pizza cameout and we were all the very disappointed! One pizza was missing two toppings, arugula and pepperoni. Immediately we could tellhow soggy and watery the pizza was. If you picked up a piece, all the toppings would slide off. The tomato sauce was literallytomato juice. The pizza was dripping, and was very unflavorful. The didn’t offer a refund, and to remake the pizza, but wedidn’t want to be wasteful. They did bring us gelato, however we will not be coming back. Huge waste of 60 dollars. Sodissatisfied. Read more
Came in right at 3 as they opened and we felt a bit awkward. The staff sort of stared at us and then we felt hurried along by... the girl who took our order. Food was fantastic though!! Pizza Margherita was sooo great. It was thin and crispy with theperfect amount of sauce. Greens salad was delicious too, if a little overdressed. Partner had the Butcher and said it wasperfect. A great local Neapolitan pizza spot. We've been here 6-7 times and most recently spent our Valentines day here for a special... event they hosted. They are normally closed on Mondays, but since it was Valentines they had a special event for couples. Eachcouple received an appetizer, a glass of champagne, a bottle of wine (red, white, or rose), a salad, two pizzas, and a dessert!The best part was that we were able to make the pizza ourselves. The dough was pre-made (it does need to proof after all), butthen they showed us how to shape it and then we topped it before they fired it in the oven. Alright. Let’s start with the good, because there isn’t much to say. The meat in the butcher tasted pretty good. Not... amazing, but solid good meat toppings. Everything else was absolutely terrible. The crust lacks flavor. The little bit ofsauce present on the pizza was little more than straight up tomato, begging to have any spice added to it at all. And even thecheese (which was in very low supply) was unable to redeem any bites. I have had lots and lots of pizza in my life. From allover. This is seriously one of the worse pizza experiences I have ever had. And at $18.89 for a pie…..I fed robbed. Iliterally would prefer the likes of Pizza Hut (which I avoid because I like my tastes buds) or gas station pizza over thisplace. I am having a hard time finishing it, but at a premium price for this pie, I am going to choke it down. Read more
Pretty great. It was slow which was nice. Food kinda took a little while. Staff was very very friendly! Pizza was good and... enjoyable. I will say I’ve had better neopolitan pizza. The crust wasn’t bubbly or delicious. I think Spin pizza isdefinitely a better option and it’s less expensive I will definitely try again to see if the crust is different. Could’vebeen an off day, or a different chef or something. Really the only things that were an issue was the crust and the price.Otherwise great ingredients, staff, and experience. I’ll be back! We used 1889 Pizza Napoletana to cater our wedding reception. Keli and Jason did a wonderful job making sure everything was just... how we wanted. We had multiple compliments on how tasty everything was - the appetizers, salads, and pizza! Keep in mind thatbecause they cook it fresh, guests will have to wait, so dinner will take just a bit longer than a traditional buffet, buteveryone understood and told us it was worth it! (we had approx 130 guests) You cannot go wrong with the cesar salad or TheButcher pizza! Read more
This is a beautiful location with a very good food! Although my pizza was made incorrectly the first time (everybody has their... day) the owner handled everything perfectly and made my pizza again himself and it was absolutely exquisite! Read more
