Just try it.. If you're not convinced here are my Pros and Cons: Pros: + great service / staff (Mimi, Ghonny, and Andy are... AMAZING. not to mention kitchen staff that is super generous) + amazing food, I've tried a handful of things from the menu andnever had a thing I dislike (I'm a picky eater but it's always yummy) + good scenery! I am used to and prefer Thai curries in particular. I can usually take Thai hot spice levels, but this level varies by the type... of restaurant. Tonight started with a wait time of about 5 to 10 minutes, which was more than reasonable. The waiter took bothof us to our table and almost immediately we were served water, which I liked. We chose to start with calamari, served warm. Iwent with their signature Panang red curry, to which I chose to add cashew since it didn't seem any of their curries hadcashews, with a "hot" spice level. I waited a reasonable time before they brought a dish I did not order, which was odd but theysoon corrected it, probably for a different table. The curry itself was one of the better ones I've had, and had a great mix offlavors. Their "hot" level was a little lower than I expected, but still good. I would have suggested mixing a little morecoconut oil to start, with the thai peppers blended with young cilantro root/shoot. After our meal we waited a bit too long forour check, and the music was interesting to say the least. Overall a good experience, but not for the price. Read more
Great overall service! Pad Thai was all broken noodles.. 2 inch broken noodles. Flavor was ok.. in my opinion not worth 16$... tho. Small meat portion. Side of Spring Rolls were good! Loved the sauce that came with it. Read more
There was a little bit of a wait, but the restaurant was also full. The food is delicious and the portions are enough for you to... eat without feeling stuffed afterward. We loved the experience and would definitely visit again. Read more
Fun environment and cute place. Staff were friendly and the food was great. We felt it's an authentic Thai restaurant but with... that being said I have never been to Thailand nor do I know anyone from Thailand. We ordered the Pad Thai and Kee Mow dinner. Iordered mine spicy. ???? The reason I am giving it four stars out of five is because they gave me chicken when I ordered pork. Read more
If you visit KC and you have a hankering for Thai food you have to come here. This is the best Thai food I have had in a while.... I was here on business and ate alone at the bar but was treated like a dignitary from out of town. The crispy spring rolls,the green curry (hot) was so so so good. The drinks were on point with the meal. It's a good vibe all around. Happy to havevisited. Read more
Out of the many Thai restaurants I've tried in the area this one tops it all! The soup had such a well balanced-... sour/sweet/savory (Tom Yum soup) taste. Everything was just so tasty! A few thing that I liked from them is how they place thepeanuts on the side of the plate, allowing me to distribute as much peanuts I like in my Pad Thai. The pad Thai itself had agood amount of sauce without overdoing it, a nice touch of tanginess, and just so delicious! The basil fried rice was excellent!each rice grain was well separated and coated well with spices- not mushy and definitely not disappointing! I liked this placeso much that I came again the next day to try their curry- unfortunately didn't take a picture of. 10/10 recommend! Read more
Ordered take away for items 1. Chicken Kee Mow 2. Veg fried rice with instructions not to add tofu. The order came with tofu. We... only realized it after reaching home. When called the restaurant the lady spoke very rudely saying the instructions were notclear for the cook. Dint resolve the issue. Very bad service. Also the food is way more expensive than other Thai restaurantsin Kansas City area. At least by $3-4 per dish. Read more
