Our first time back in 3 years to the day. For the last 11 years This has always been our go to place for anniversaries,... birthdays, and graduations. They are back to the original ways of Em Chamas. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendlyand it was warm and inviting. The dessert was so good. She got the tres leche cake and I got the passion fruit. The grilledpineapple is a must have, like a piece of candy for every bit. The house special meat is my favorite and they always seem tohave the perfect medium cooked for me. In the 3 year absence because of the pandemic, and with the changes Em Chamas was doingwith the meat service, we have gone to other restaurants for our events but they always felt off. We said last night at dinnerfor a birthday it felt like “home”. We’ve missed Em Chamas of old and are so happy to be able to come back for many moreevents. Read more
We have eaten at Em Chamas twice now and both times I loved it. Nice atmosphere, the salad and hot bar are kept clean. Both... times I was particularly impressed with the mashed potatoes. And of course there's the meat. The meat is high quality and all sotasty I could just sit there all day eating until it hurts. I don't even like lamb, and yet this lamb is so well prepared Iwould be happy if it were the only meat on offer. But it's not! There are many to choose from and you can have as much of eachas you would like. On my last visit in addition to the lamb there was a spicy chicken, a couple of types of steak including asirloin stuffed with cheese, ribs, and sausage. Oh and a grilled pineapple thing that was a fantastic compliment to the variousmeats. I definitely recommend Em Chamas for anyone that fancies themselves a meat eater. Read more
I’m a carnivore so this place hits the spot! A constant rotation of servers stop by the table and slice off a portion of meat... right onto my plate. I skip the meats I don’t like, and get multiple portions of the ones I love. Perfect! My favorite isthe flank steak because it has a strong smoky, salty, and beefy flavor. And also I love the provolone-infused sirloin. Soooooogood! I don’t normally like ham, but the ham here is AMAZING cuz it has a caramelized honey glaze!!! Don’t waste your time(and room in your belly) on the salad and veggies…go straight to the meat! If you’ve got room towards the end, theBrazilian cheese balls are a nice finish. Read more
Was served this place of very raw steak, that was supposed to be cheese stuffed but hardly got any. Never got offered a... replacement for that piece of meat. Had to consistently ask for more meat after they only cut you off a piece big enough for atoddler to eat. After being served the raw meat, everyone’s appetites were thrown off and we left shortly after. We were satat the very back of the restaurant next to the hot bar, so it was hard to hear anybody speaking at our table. Most of the meatswere pretty dry, but the cold bar was delicious. We went there last night as fogos on the plaza was booked and we'll wish we had just went to mcds or anywhere else we will start... with the salad bar that has fewer selections then a pizza street and tasted way worse we will get to the seating it's supercrowded like no way social distancing when my back is litterly right behind another person then the meat the part that mattersmost most of the meat is extremely bland the lamb was not just not seasoned I had to ask for salt just to eat it the waitresswas nice but the food quilty is not on par for a 95 dollar price tag for 2 people if you have the money and there available goto fogos its worth the extra 40 bucks cause this place staff was arguing half the nighg at the front just very unpleasant andsad to say made my wife and I very uncomfortable Read more
The service was pretty good, the salad and hot food bar was good. The sausages didn't have much flavor, and a couple of the... meats were pretty salty this time. And there was a couple of times the waitress had to ask a second time to get the meat broughtto our table.Two of the three desserts were good. We love everything about this place. Such a great experience trying lots of different meats with a decent salad bar. The flavors... are amazing and cooked perfectly. Low light setting with friendly staff. All you can eat in a very elegant servingpresentation. They give you small tongs to pull your meat away as they cut it in front of you. Reservations online is the wayto go. Read more
