Went for night goat bbq brunch on Sunday morning. The brisket was okay but the fried green tomato sandwich was amazing. The... fried green tomato was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the pork belly was melt in your mouth, and the green salsa was tart andflavorful. Would definitely recommend this sandwich to anyone! Just had the best dining experience! Amazing service, food & drinks. We had the mozzarella & tomatoes to start - highly... recommend! Followed by the flank steak, pasta, berry cake and chocolate dessert. There was nothing left on our plates! Absolutely phenomenal and our new favorite KC restaurant. Historic building with an inviting and interesting vibe. Food was outstanding. I had the meat loaf & turnips. Both were... prepared differently than your standard fare, and both were the best I have ever had. Menu is regularly updated with newchoices. The service was excellent. Got to try out their delicious BBQ, which is only served on sundays from 11-3. The brisket was thoroughly flavorful while being... very tender, featuring plenty of fat. The pork belly was smoky and also fantastic. Both went well with the BBQ sauce, which wasless sweet but a little more acidic. The cheesy grits were a well complementing side. Read more

As an out of town visitor, I came here because it had good reviews but my experience was not great. The atmosphere was cool,... really well decorated and cool ambiance?.so it has that going for it. My server was sweet but new and really couldn?t answermany questions. The pot pie was so salty I couldn?t finish it, the duck had a very gamey flavor and was chewy. There were sometasty dishes though, the gnocchi was good. So were the pickles and hand pies - really tasty. The skillet brownie was good butnothing special and the upside down apple cake was bland. The drinks were good. All in all, an expensive night and a mediocreexperience. Read more
