Take it from a Georgia Girl, this place is the real deal. I?d been missing the old timey ?meat+3? in the south, and Game Day is... reminiscent of that flavor. Good wings, but go for the sides. Wife spoke very highly of this place, got lunch with her and the meat was tough like it was frozen or something. She told me it... was off today and last time was better they were just off that day. My family really loves wings and fried fish. Grabbed 12 wings and a pound of fish on a Sunday. Really wanted to love this... place. But all of the food was crazy salty. The wings were big but also big salty. I actually like salty but this wasuneatable. Not sure how they got best wing in KC if this is the standard. Waste of $50. Read more
New Review: The food was delicious fresh and hot when it was delivered to me. Everything was so good. The onion rings were... superb and crispy. I was nervous that they would be soggy and cold but they were super crispy and fried to perfection. TheFrench toast is my all-time favorite so so delicious. Mac and cheese and yams were wonderful. Fried chicken was mmmmmmm good! Ilove supporting black owned businesses! I definitely will be ordering at least once a week! Food was fresh and served hot. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. The dining space is small and on the warmer side in... this summer heat but well worth the wait and the heat. The staff/owners are awesome.and very friendly. Game day is a greatrestaurant to visit if your in KC. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich from here after a recommendation, and I?m sorry to say but the chicken patty tasted putrid -... like straight garbage compost. Wasn?t crispy either, it was soggy. Fries couldn?t salvage the meal. Place looked clean though. Read more
