Tried it for the first time today, staff was pleasant and food came out fast. I ordered spaghetti with Italian sausage. Sauce is... thick and has a sweeter taste. Sausage and noodles were cooked well.Garlic bread was better compared to others in my opinionwith a lot of herb flavor. I will come back again. Read more

I didn't care for the Italian Steak sandwich. I went right before closing and the steak was hard. I only ate half. And I'm mad... about that because I'm a chunky girl, I wanted it all. Always a treat coming here since very yummy food that's not expensive & quickly served. Plus we prefer to patronize local... family-owned businesses. My wife had mostaccioli w/ meatballs along with a side of toasted cheese ravioli. I had my usual whichis the grilled chicken Alfredo. Both of our entrees came with excellent garlic bread. Love this place. Thier sub sandwiches are above all others. They stack them full of meat. Puts subway and goodcents to shame.... The salt shaker in picture is to show the amount of meat they put on the sandwiches. If you are in the Northland of KC, this isa must place to eat. They also have hot dishes. Friendly staff always. I love these family owned small businesses. The food is usually very good and service friendly. This is exactly what Giovanni's... Italian Deli and Pasta is. I ordered the meatball sandwich after I found out they make their own meatballs. The meatballsandwich was very good, the 3 meatballs covered the whole sandwich (about 8 inches). The meatballs were tender and flavorful.The sauce was great and they put plenty of sauce and cheese on it. Got my grandson a child spaghetti and he ate all of it withsome help from me and my wife. The spaghetti was very good. The sauce was like a gravy, and homemade, it sure tasted like it.The noodles were perfect. Also loved the garlic bread, better than most Italian places. Can?t say enough about this amazing family owned restaurant! They have lots of amazing choices, staff was very friendly, place... was clean and well kept and food was brought out very promptly. We had the Italian club sub toasted and pasta salad, it wasabsolutely marvelous! Huge portions and so so good! We also had the lasagna which they said the 90+ grandma still makeseveryday!
