A little louder then it ought to be likely owing to the hard pretty surfaces. Sea food is flown in every other day and the... oysters and scallops were solid. They didn't give me that little spoon for the garnishes or a steak knife which annoyed me. ButI didn't ask for them either, I ate the oysters too fast and the butter knife was able to cut through the steak. The steaktartare was apparently awesome but I didn't care for it. The baked pimento cheese and brussel sprouts were really great. AgreedKansas City steak was excellent. Great Creme brulee but the cheese cake failed in my opinion. The pictures bottle of proseccois a solid starter if you're into bubbly. Read more

Good dinner in a great space. Definitely no complaints in the arrival or departure through the grand station space. The butter... candle for the beef tartare was definitely unique. Steak was cooked accordingly. Dessert was great. Service was very attentive. Read more

Pierpont's is an amazing experience. Set in Union Station and preserving much of the nostalgic Art Deco interior, you will be... treated to a first class dining experience. The ambience is incredible. The detail on the architecture is truly beautiful. Youcross the spacious lobby of the old train station and walk into another world. The drink menu can't be outdone by any other barI've been to in KC. They have all the scotches I would ever recommend. The cocktails ordered by the others in my party were onpoint. The wedge salad featured crispy over lettuce and exactly the right amount of dressing. Streaks were melt in your mouthdelicious, with enhancements like Coffee and Chili powder. The Wild Sauteed Mushrooms had the delicate hint of garlic that madeit a perfect complement. The only very minor disappointment was the Pierpont's Fries, which seemed little more than steak friesone could get anywhere. The roasted garlic whipped potatoes were airy and creamy. Overall the key word was: subtle. Seasoningswere not overpowering, but understated and designed to be a true accompaniment to the meal. Peach bread pudding rounded out theevening, lightly sweet and not too heavy. Coffee was strong and full bodied. This was a birthday celebration not to be missed onour trip from out of town. This was the highlight of the week. Read more

We were looking for a high-end restaurant near Crown Center to replace the now-defunct American Restaurant for dinner. This more... than filled the bill. Classic steak perfectly prepared and creative menu options. Pierpont's is inside Union Station. Read more

Wonderful anniversary place. Clean, tidy, elegant. Had one of the best steaks of my life. I can't remember what topping it was,... but it was cooked perfectly. Bone marrow was savory. Romantic, yet busy. I would like to come back someday. Our waiter was veryattentive. Read more
