The front desk were unprofessional and my key card seldom worked. But the room was nice, and the hotel is near the convention... center. Read more

Overall, Providence is just OK. Our server was initially aggressive, but after the entrees arrived, we did not see him for... quite a while, which delayed ordering another glass of Malbec. The food was creative, but each dish was one simple step awayfrom perfection. The cheese curds were fried at too low of a temperature, resulting in a soft, oily mouth feel; however, thepresentation and other flavors on the plate were quite well balanced and delicious. The arugula salad lack any sweetness tobalance out the deep flavors of the greens; however, the aged cheddar and hint of smokiness were lovely. The mushroom lasagnawas beautifully plated and well-prepared; however, the dish comes across as very bland, even with salt added at the table. Thebrightness of the garlic chip garnish only slightly corrected this. The star of the evening was the Gnocci. It was beautifullyprepared and presented, well-balanced with numerous layers of flavor. We will look forward to trying other eateries in the samearea before returning. When we return, we will know to order differently. Read more

The valet was standing in the cold instead of sitting inside and he returned my car very quickly. The parking is free, however,... if you in up in a lot which charges you went too far. The building is a very well preserved 1920's Hilton hotel. The restaurantis old school elegance with incredible detail. This was the quietist place I have ever been which made it easy to talk. Thedistinguished waiter was always there when we needed him. He had a great personality which made my wife and I laugh. The Ribeyesteak literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. It was the best steak I have ever enjoyed. My wife had the Salmonwhich she has all the time; she stated that it was incredible. My son had the fish and chips which were golden brown crust withno left over old oil on it, the white fish was unbelievable, I ate some and I will come back and order it. I recommend thisrestaurant to anybody that wants to enjoy the greatest food they ever will eat. Read more

My family and I visited before a concert because it was one of the only places in the area accepting reservations. I was... unimpressed with the atmosphere - bright lights, seemingly drab decor, and a lot of tan colors. It felt like we were in aknockoff Longhorn Steakhouse. When we arrived, there were very few people in the restaurant, and our service was still slow. Thefood was good, but definitely overpriced for the portions. I would probably not return, but it would do in a pinch. Read more

Had a delicious meal with friends during restaurant week. We collectively had wine, martinis, flank steak, salmon, chocolate... cake, and pavlova. We loved all of our food and had a great time. Read more

Less than impressed. Poor ambience, place was lit up like an interrogation room, uneducated server with poor service, although... she was endearing you could tell she had close to zero training and menu knowledge. Food was average, I had the trout which wasactually delicious but my poor husband ordered a ribeye that was actually a strip steak (which they don't have on the menu). But the cherry on top was being charged $100 more than our actual bill. Read more

The service was great but the entrees could have been better. The pork belly appetizer was really tasty. For the price of dinner... I expected a better meal. I had the meatloaf which was recommended by the waitress. It was a little dry and only had mildflavor. Read more

Came here for happy hour on a weekday. They have a sit down section and a bar section, apparently happy hour is only served in... the bar section. The happy hour menu has a decent variety of staple items. We got the onion rings, fries, burger, pork belly, and salmon rilette. Each item was pretty tasty. The portions are decent for the happy hour prices. GOOD * Pork belly - The skinhas been baked so that it's quite crunchy, but the inside is still juicy, and it's covered with a sweet sauce that accents thepork well. MEH * Fried Chicken - Ordered their fried chicken. It's a decently sized, has a nice crunchy breading, and juicysucculent meat, but it has no flavor besides the inherent chicken flavor. Read more
