Takes forever to get anything here. It?s never as easy as placing a mobile order, walking in, grabbing the drink and leaving.... Not once have I been able to just grab and go. Drinks consistently takes 20-40 minutes to make. The folks are nice but honestlyjust rather deal with someone grumpy if it means I get a drink without having to camp in the lobby while I wait. Love waiting 30 minutes for a cold brew. Maybe the cashier could stop pushing through orders while the girl making drinks is... clearly struggling. Read more

I asked for a cold matcha latte and they didn't stir or shake the drink, so I was drinking whole chunks of matcha. Didn't finish... the drink. Read more

Don't waste your time! You won't get your order for a long time. I arrived about 30 minutes before closing time. I placed my... order and then the only employee on duty took the order of the person behind us. And then the next order and the next afternext. He was taking orders well after they closed. During this time he did not complete a single order, he just kept taking moreorders. Nobody was getting their drinks! This went on long enough that people who had paid just left without their coffee. Thelobby was jammed packed for of people who paid and were waiting. Although I got my drink after a long wait, I didn't get toenjoy it because I was then late for a show that I couldn't take outside beverages to. This was by far the worse experience Ihad at any establishment, ever. I will never return to this location and if I were management, I would recommend closing thelocation until they can hire and properly train quality staff for this location. Read more

I have been to many Starbucks across the country because they are pretty standardized for coffee taste. This particular one was... so poorly organized that I would not recommend going here. The staff took 10 minutes to take my order because he was toopreoccupied retrieving other people?s hot food orders while I was in the middle of my order. I had two drip coffee orders and ahot milk for my 3 year old. He was doing quite well standing in the long line and while I ordered, however because the staffperson was so discombobulated and slow my son started acting as all 3 year olds act. My son jumped up and down and hit his lipon the counter. He still has a fat lip today. This could have been avoided if the staff person ran my card after taking my orderand had us stand to wait for the hot milk, instead of spending all his time getting others food orders. It took one second toswipe in my card. I would not go here again. Read more

I never go to Starbucks, but needed to kill some time downtown. It was cold so I got hot chocolate. I don't drink coffee. They... gave me hot chocolate. It was fine. Friendly service. No complaints, but I didn't ask for or expect much. Read more

This Starbucks was hectic during the IHOPKC one thing conference. Despite the traffic, the staff were still very well tempered... and friendly. They unfortunately ran out of pumpkin spice but the salted caramel mocha was still very good. There is limitedseating but since it is attached to a hotel, one can easily find seating in the lobby there instead. Read more

Sometimes it's busy because of all the hotel guests (is IS connected to a Marriott!) But if you're a human who understands how... customer service works and takes note that you are not the only person in the shop... then it's a great spot. I live very closeto this starbucks and the sweet ladies who work at this location are very nice and very friendly. Busy or no, I like going in tohave a coffee and read here because everyone is so friendly! Read more
