Service was exceptional from my entry to my exit. Care and consideration was taken to where I was seated. My server Stephanie... provided invaluable information on the menu, nonalcoholic beverages, and tangible features of the restaurant. I decided on theBistro Burger. It was an amazing combination of flavors and textures. The beverage was a special concoction Stephanie created,featuring cranberry juice, lemonade, and Seltzer ????. A fine dining but in causal setting. We came here with a group of friends from New York and they kept talking about how great... the food is! I would recommend to order different dishes and eat family style. There are seating both inside (two story) andoutside (small/limited seatings). Lm Read more
The food, atmosphere and atmosphere is incredible! The pasta and shrimp were cooked well and it was an excellent choice from... their specials which change every two weeks or so. I also recommend the bread basket because the garlic butter is to die for! Irecommend reservations as the space is a bit small. Also when we went there was no AC so highly recommend dressing appropriatelyif it’s a warm day. Read more
4.5 Stars if Google would allow it. Tailleur has been on my list for sometime now. We don't live close enough to the area so... when we had the opportunity to stay downtown for a fun evening out we made reservations. We love the Russel so we knew wouldlove it here also. From the second we walked in we were greated by a lovely man that explained the atmosphere and decor to usas well and pulled out a table and chairs so my wife could have a seat. That is un-heard of these days in a reaturant. Ourwaiter was newly employed, but extremely eager to learn and explain things to us. My wife had the summer special salad and I hadthe rice and bean burger. Both of which we very good. The dessert menu is large and on display front and center which isnice! We loved every single inch of Tailleur and it reminds us of our our own home. The only very small criticism I would giveis that the drink menu is limited as they don't have a full bar. That might be by design so that is hard to be upset about whenthe food, staff, decor, snd atmosphere are perfect. We will be back for sure! Keep it up! Read more
Yes, I adored this classy French restaurant. It’s not snobby. It’s got a friendly vibe. All ages come to dine. You can spend... a little or a lot and it’s all delicious and nicely seasoned! Nice wine list. Two levels. Upstairs and downstairs as well asoutdoor seating which was fabulous on the day we went. The weather was perfect. Service is great. Nice atmosphere. Food was good but I wouldn’t say exceptional. I ordered the salmon with polenta which I enjoyed. My mother... ordered the steak, there was a sweet taste which I didn’t mind but my mother wasn’t a fan of. Wouldn’t consider it to beone of my favourite places but I would definitely go back for drinks and something to munch on while catching up with people. Read more
We had a large group for lunch. We were seated at 2 tables and one table was served much faster than the other. Having said that... the food was amazing! The ambiance was cozy with so many things on the walls to see. Super fun visually. We all ordereddifferent things and everyone loved their meals. We had fish, quiche, soup, salads, sandwiches and dessert.....oh thedessert...save room, worth every bite! Read more
Gorgeous, eclectic, restaurant!! Delicious variety of foods. My fav desserts were the lemon & key lime tart! You can dine... upstairs when the downstairs is full or with reservations. There’s a beautiful patio in back. At night the lights are on toset the mood! Lots of things to look at displayed along the beautifully colored walls. The drink selection could be a littlebetter reg the cocktails. They now have open the champagne bar called Cheval & a dessert shop will be opening in the fallalso.
