My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador Hotel, it was clear that we should check into what excitement was... happening at the restaurant. Amazing music and a warm, welcoming crowd had us swaying and dancing at our table. We noticed agentleman walk past and we asked if he could help us with drinks. He was so easy and helpful. He gave us amazing drinkrecommendations and then left to fill the order. We soon realized this was the executive chef; Stephan Selby. Not often does anexecutive chef give that level of direct customer service. He did it because he is obviously passionate about this restaurantand wants to genuinely ensure everyone has an amazing experience. Our server, Kendall was wonderful and so charming. Sheengaged us warmly and made us feel a special touch just to us. Her sister, Kristin was also working hard behind the bar mixingthese drinks like none I have had. A Gourd drink that I was not quite sure why I ordered until I had a second because it was sorefreshing and tasty. First time being here since the new Chef Stephen came to be the executive chef! He was so kind and the food was even better than... it sounded on the menu! The staff was always coming to check on us and then the chef even brought out steak tartare for us onthe house! 12/10 stars! Definitely coming back here! Read more
A calm, reserved, and classy atmosphere ! There were only four other diners there when I arrived this morning. Even the restroom... was elegant in shimmering black framed with brown images! The smell was neutral; sans noxious human smells or cloying freshnersfighting to cover up the acrid. I had an omelet filled with ????, ham, onions, and cheddar ????. The omelet was fluffy, tender& creamy interior , and crisp around the edges. I had a ???? of seasonal fruit filled with ????, ????, ????, and ????. Great brunch spot. Beautiful atmosphere in a historic hotel. The bacon fried rice was delicious for brunch. Just enough food to... fill you up and had a nice spicy flavor. The servers were amazing as well! Would definitely recommend this spot. Read more

I have been coming to the bar at the American Reserve, about once or twice a week for the past month. I can not say enough about... the bartender Larry. Not only does he make one of the BEST French 75s in the city, he always makes me feel welcome andcomfortable, even though I admittedly don?t look nor dress like the ?typical crowd? that frequents the bar! It?s the definitelythe service that keeps me coming back! Do yourself a favor and get there a night Larry, is bartending. His skill and detail todrinks is not something you find at every hotel bar, and very much appreciated. Read more
A stay at the Ambassador Hotel would not be complete without visiting the American Reserve. We happened upon this restaurant on... a Saturday evening because so many fun vibes and soulful music was streaming out. That night was amazing and our servers wereeven better. That Sunday we went back for breakfast to find some of the same servers. Our favorite from the night before,Kendall was already hard back at work with a huge engaging smile. We were lucky to have an interaction with Krystal thismorning. She was such the right person to assist us with soaking up any fun from the evening prior.
