Tower Tavern is a no frills establishment. Some days are great others are not as great. I understand why people give it 1 star... if you had a terrible time - That is an anomaly. They have a diverse selection of craft beer (not a huge selection but wellcurated). Reading some of the 1-star reviews I have deduced that they should just tell the employee their problems. We were in KC for a wedding. We stumbled upon Tower Tavern. What a great find. Friendly staff, good food and tasty beverages. We... enjoyed our first visit so much, we opted to stay an extra day to watch the Chiefs game. Sooo much fun. Great crowd. Read more

Wow!! What a cool place to go for a local pizza and beer. Great vibe and a good home town bar feeling. I got to meet Jared (part... owner) such a great guy and very professional. I did not experience a wait to be seated. The restaurant was not busy or crowded. I appreciated the vast space between tables. I... ordered the sliders and fries. My ???? were a bit undercooked. They took them back and provided fresh fully cooked burgers and????. The manager also credited my bill. Read more
I love tower tavern. Best wings in KC. I know they push the grilled wins but I love the fried wings. Also patio is dog friendly
