No dedicated parking but plenty of street parking. Outside lanai seating only, in a casual and relaxed setting. The fish tacos... were so delicious. You. Must. Stop. Here. The food is very fresh, and the laid back groove makes the food even better. Daily catches adds variety... to the menu, and there's good to great options for kids (cheese quesadilla lover? upgrade to the pork!). If you're not feelinga beer, I can recommend the smoothies, and the spicy poke. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. Parking is onthe street, and don't get discouraged if there's a little bit of a walk. Read more

My family went on a trip to explore the northern part of the big island, and we came across Giil?s Lanai in Hawi. The line was... long and the seating area was packed. Obviously the neighborhood love them. We eventually ordered their fish and chips, theirspicy poke, and a kids meal hotdog. As you can see in the picture, the fish and chips were a good portion and the fish tastedreally fresh. The batter did not make the fish over heavy. It was light and crispy. The hotdog for the kids was jumbo size. Weweren?t able to take a picture of the poke plate but it was also delicious and refreshing. We will definitely come here againon our next trip to the northern shore of the big Island. Read more
