This is a very nice place to visit, we didn't order pizza, but they had a lot of pick up orders while we sat and ate our ice... cream, chocolate mint and wild cherry, they were delicious, across the street you can see the statue and some historical factsabout the king and island, the only public restrooms are located behind the building of the statue.. must stop visit.. Get the Hawaiian pizza! We stopped here on a misty day and enjoyed lunch after hiking down to the Pololu Valley. Service was... friendly and quick. The prices were reasonable ... and the pizza was delicious. My kids also said the strawberry smoothies wereexcellent. Read more
Wife got a pineapple shaved ice and I got a strawberry smoothie. Nice little spot to rest and the menu looked great. Little... too early to eat so we sat and checked out the Kamehameha statue across the street. Well worth the stop. Read more
The decor was very nice. It was kind of pricey for basic sandwiches and burgers. There wasn't anything really exotic there that... stood out food wise. They were exceptionally slow getting out our order when it wasn't really busy. When I told them they wereout of toilet paper while trying to take my young child to the bathroom on an urgent need they pointed me to the park across thestreet. I was told later by my wife who heard them talking when I left that it was because the employee didn't remember/ know Iwas a paying customer (and tipped as well even though we weren't actually served at the table) not more than 15 or 20 minutesago and it was just us and two other groups in there. There wasn't high foot traffic. I realize the restrooms were not fornon-customers and that's their policy but we were paying customers. I also found it quite absurd that had I not been a payingcustomer they would make no exception for a potential customer either. There were other restaurants not too far away and basedon this experience and the mediocre food I'm sorry to say I don't think I would go back given the opportunity. I'm sure thestaff is nice based on how they were treating other customers and regulars but my experience soured me to the place. Read more
Excellent food. We tried the Mac and Cheese Burger, tuna melt, and meat lover pizza. All were fantastic! The flavors were rich... and the bread was delicious (as all Hawaiin bread seems to be. Even pizza crust.). You can't go wrong here. Read more
The pineapple chicken sandwich was very flavorful. The bread was tasty, the bbq sauce was great and the pineapple fit perfectly.... The salad was a bit less exciting, but ok. Read more
If you are ever on the Big Island and you decide to go to the black sand beach, stop in Hawi and eat at the King's View Cafe. ... There are so many delicious things to eat, you will have a hard time deciding. Excellent service, excellent food, it is a mustvisit. Read more
