Food was good, service was completely lacking. The server barely came to the table, it took forever to put a food order in, and... after we put in a drink order it tool 15 minutes to get the drinks. Food, good not great, service, just let us order online andpickup ourselves. Read more
Nice little restaurant in Foodland Farms, Chanel had great suggestions. Manila clams, scallion bread, short rib loco moco, and... mahiai vegetables(snap peas? But good stuff). Had a green coconut that went too fast, a strawberry lemonade that was too tartfor me personally, and a bottle of kendall jackson? reisling that went well with the clams. Located inside of Foodland Kapolei in the Ka Makana Ali'i Mall. Food was good quality and I appreciated the focus on local... ingredients and flavors. Favorite dish was the Lechon Style Brussels and Braised Short Rib Loco Moco. There was love music theevening we were there which is always a plus. Read more
We ordered the mango habanero chicken wings, manila clams, pork shank adobo and shrimp noodles and broccoli. All were delicious!... The service was good and there was live music. The musician had a really nice voice. This restaurant is inside FoodLand so it'svery convenient to go grocery shopping after dinner. Read more
Quick update as we went again the other day. The Mahi’ai Cobb, Lechon Style Brussels, and Arancini special of the day were... BOMB! I added the furikake salmon to my salad and legit, that might’ve been the best salad I’ve ever had. All the flavorscombined so nicely and was very filling! The brussels we couldn’t stop eating and the crispy pipikaula was the perfect touch.We also really enjoyed the arancini app special which was more of a curried version but I can’t remember everything that wasin it. The rest of the fam ordered the Fish n’ Chips and the Hawaii Meats Burger - both of which were good. —— Firsttime dining here and was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the ambiance and decor - the lighting fixtures were really cute - and thestaff was really friendly. Their menu really showcases all Hawaii and our local farmers have to offer, which I love, and isreally creative. We tried the Soy-Glazed Habanero Wings, BLT, Fresh Local Ahi Patty Sammie, Hamakua Farms Ali’i Mushroom Pizzaand the Ube Pie. Everything tasted yummy! My only critique would be just a tad less cheese on the pizza to really let theveggies shine a bit more, but that may just be a personal preference as I tend to like less cheesy pizzas overall. Great atmosphere, comfy environment, and great tasting food. Perfect for a relaxing dinner after a long day’s work. The... flavors capture many cultural tastes. Desserts were wonderful, not too sweet, enjoyable and very sharable. Only downside for mewas that the Ube pie crust tasted stale and old (probably bad luck on our side that we went on the day before fresh ones weremade). Overall great experience and a must try for groups and families. Just be ready to split the bill since the food are onthe expensive side, but it will be worth it. Read more
