Looking at the ratings I wasn?t expecting much, but this place is AMAZING for dinner. Wow! What an awesome dinner! From the... trio of salsa with corn chips through to the salads, everything was super delicious and fresh. The fresco salad was a standout,and the kids menus has lots of choices. But if nothing else, order the aloha cheesecake dessert and the churros because theyare absolutely wonderful. Great service and good food. So much fresher and yummier than other Ko?olina options. We had dinner there 2 nights ago. EBONY was our waitress and she was amazing! There were 7 of us (4 kids) and she was so patient... with us adults???? The guacamole was some if the best I have ever had, and the enchiladas were incredibly authentic. Wouldhighly recommend margaritas and totally worth a little wait! We had steak fajitas, chicken tortilla soup and fruit juice. Props to the soup for having slices of avocado in the bowl. The... fajitas were cooked perfectly with guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Twenty minute wait which was ok but then when seated another 30 minutes to get the attention of the manager. Three of us... finally were served with the third member of the party waiting another 15 minutes. Food was bland and served cold. Drinks wereexcellent and timely. Bartender was excellent. Very good ambiance with a modern clean look. Appeared to me more help was needed.Big price, average food, great drinks, coupled with a long wait. Read more
The good part: great location, nice patio, both indoor and outdoor seating with social distancing. The margaritas at the bar... were outstanding. The bartender did a great job. The not so good: we were seated in about 20 minutes which was fine but thenthey forgot about us. Had to ask the manager if he could find our waiter. Food was served luke warm, food did not come out atthe same time, not much flavor and it took forever for the food to come out of the kitchen. Mekilo Cantina is expensive. Mediocre experience. Fantastic restaurant! Enjoyed the margarita flight - especially the hot spicy one - and the island ceviche was excellent. The... bartender Andre was on top of his game. The atmosphere is lovely, a perfect match for its great location. Highly recommend forfresh Mexican food and a really enjoyable night out. Read more
Mekiko was Amazing!! The service was great and the staff was so nice! It is very modern and in a great location. The food was... delicious. The Surf and Turf was a perfect balance of flavors. The Ono tacos were fall apart! The fajitas represented modern butauthentic Mexican cuisine! The margaritas were light and fresh! Will definitely come again next visit! Read more
