Breakfast was really good. Love the biscuits..cut in half, buttered, and toasted. Bacon was crispy and plenty of hash browns.... Coffee was good as well. Service was curtious and quick. Good view of the lake. Read more
The food there was nothing short of amazing. There were 4 of us in our group. 1 had fish, 1 had catfish,1 had salmon patties... and I had chicken fried steak. We all agree the food was fantastic. Mine was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Read more

The window tables offer a pretty view of the lake. We ordered chicken fried steak which was cooked just right with yummy gravy.... The employees were busy but patient and friendly. Their home-made pound cake is a plus to our delicious lunch . Read more
Shady Glade Cafe was a delicious breakfast after the wonderful boat tour on Caddo Lake. The small staff at Shady Glade make you... feel like part of the family. I made the right choice with the buttermilk pancakes and bacon!! The pancakes were so fluffy; Ican never make mine that good. The Cafe is in the perfect spot, right where the boat tours start and end. I bet the lunch/dinnermenu is also spectacular. Thanks Shady Glade Cafe!! Read more

This restaurant is located at Caddo lake in the street of Cypress. Came here for breakfast onSaturday morning to check out the hype about this place. When you come inside they welcome you and their costumer service is topnotch. The view of the lake with fall color sky to bring in light and the cypress trees is the best part of this place. I hadthe number #1 on the menu and the biscuit is something to die for. I would recommend for anyone who willing to try new placesbecause I felt like home with them and the waitress who attended us was very "momma caring attitude." Shady Glade have a pierstop to park your boat to have quick bite and refuel your boat.
