Went there on a Sunday afternoon for just a couple of drinks. We sat at the bar and were welcomed with chips and a variety of... delicious salsas. Abuelos is a really good looking Tex-Mex/Mexican restaurant with a really nice vibe. They have a party room a well stocked bar... and a large amount of sitting spaces. Most plates are above $15 but they are all very good size and they are very flavorful. Igot the Chilled rellenos of beef and cheese. Our waiter was very professional, helpful and patient even with the mess our 18month baby made. Dining at Abuelo’s this evening was satisfactory. We’ve been on a search for the best house margaritas close to home. We got... two large and two small. They were good but the search continues. Our food was just okay. The tacos, tortilla soup, grilledchicken and fries (for the progeny), and the flan wasn’t anything special that sets them apart from other Mexican restaurants.We were very displeased with the chips and salsa. We have been ordering take out for a while but we've never been in the restaurant physically and it didn't disappoint us. It is... a beautiful restaurant with good food ans great service. Beautiful restaurant, lovely ambiance, nice decor and lots of space. Food was good, love that they serve authentic fajitas with... with the bell peppers and onions. Great place to go if you and your significant other are craving some good Tex-Mex fare. We split a combination plate and still... had plenty of food leftover. The restaurant offers a variety of salsas to eat, all of which are very good. The service is greatand we didn't experience any significant wait times.
