Best Falafel you get ever eat not only in Katy, but in Houston and Texas. I was having an errand to make in Katy and I got... hungry and I felt like eating Mediterranean food, so I did some google search and I found Alrawashe was the closest one to me,not to mention has great 5 stars review. When I first entered, the owners, Omar and the beautiful lady there, welcomed me in avery nice way. Going through their menu, I found that they have, Egyptian, Syrian and Lebanese food..wow, never seen threerestaurants in one. They have 3 great chefs, Egyptian, Syrian and Lebanese. The Egyptian Falafel is nothing like it..sodelicious and their pricing is really great! Love everything about this place..The owners were so nice and offered me tea whilewaiting on my order..Didn't have this amazing welcome anywhere and definitely didn't eat this super delicious Falafel anywhereelse, they do it fresh from start to finish, not from frozen. I will definitely go there again to explore more of the amazingvariety of food they have over there, even though I live in Houston, but I will be happy to drive all the way there, as it'swell-worth it Read more

Went in for the first time & ordered the mansaf and koshari. Both dishes were bursting with flavor. I personally liked the... mansaf more, only because the koshari lacked red sauce and the red sauce didn?t have much cumin in it but other than that, theywere both really great. I wanted to try the mombar but they didn?t have it when i came in. Next time for sure! I?ll be back. Read more

I stumbled upon this place while waiting for my car to be ready at the firestone shop next door. It's located in a shopping... strip mall and for some reason still has a logo for Titos on the door. The menu was large but I just wanted something forlunch, so I got the chicken shawarma wrap and asked to substitute a side salad instead of the French fries which they did. The wrap was grilled, which gave the pita a nice crisp/crunch and the salad was very fresh. The only reason I dropped a star isbecause the chicken didn't seem to be fresh from a sharwarma but instead reheated. It still tasted good but wasn't expectingit. It seems to be family run food shop, which I love to support. Read more

Went here on a saturday around 12 pm. Place was pretty quiet until we got ready to order on the counter. Then several parties... came in. There is a 3 percent cash discount if you are paying that way. I ordered the mixed kabab (13.99) and the Mombar(12.99). The items were served around 15 minutes. Mombar is basically an animal intestine stuffed with rice and spices andmade into a sausage. Sauce accompaning this is a thin sour liquid. Rice was firm with well defined grains and was quite savory.I didn't see much meat inside. Very disappointing. It took me a while to finish it with it mostly being basically rice sausages. Not recommended for the lack of meat. Mixed kabab was way better. Kind of pricy, but executed very well. I particularly likedthe rice with vermicelli. Full of flavour and firm grains. Rich but not greasy. One the best rice dishes I ever had. You musttry any platter that has this. Kofta was excellent, ground beef was very soft and well seasoned. Chicken was marinated in yogurtand was very tender. Beef was good as well. This also comes with some tahini and garlic dip for the two slices offlatbread. Overall a great place to have quality food. Again if they put meat in the Mombar it would be excellent. Read more
