Took the boy child to Bex for lunch today. He had the KIDS chicken tender/fries and I had the hickory cheeseburger/fries. After... reading that Bex was voted one of the best hamburgers in Texas we had to give them a try. The burger cooked a perfect mediumand the hint of mesquite kiss, the sesame seed bun was nightly toasted and fresh. Fries were good as well. I would have likeda choice of bun like a fresh brioche bun as im not a fan of sesame seed buns. Other wise it was a good burger, but I have tocombat the idea they are serving up the best burgers in TX. Now the chicken tenders were a different story. Even though thesewere ordered from the kid menu they came as giant halves of a chicken breasts. The flavor of the chicken was meh and my sondecided to eat the breading instead of the chicken. When I tried a piece of chicken without the breading I understood why. Would really recommend they rethink the giant pieces in favor of smaller bites for the little tikes. Still one of my favorite places to grab a good hamburger and fries. The staff is fast a friendly. Burgers are always served... super fresh. Fries are always great. Docked a star because they always manage to get my wife?s burger wrong. How hard is ?nomayo?? Read more
Just paid $30 for two burnt pieces of grilled chicken and veggies. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. It tastes like burnt food and you... can barely even chew it!! Inedible. Read more
Super good! The bacon burger was sooo yummy! Meat was cooked medium! The Cobb salad dressing is very olive oil based and does... not skimp on blue cheese crumbs! The garlic truffle fries were a let down, they were dry and I was expecting them to be wet.Overall I will be returning as my husband and I did enjoy the experience. 5 starts for customer service, 4 starts for the foodand what we paid for !!!! Overall the experience was a fair one. My burger was not made to the medium I asked for (it was very well done). My daughters... hot dog sandwich had way too much mustard (they had it on both sides of the bun) and her shake tasted like a chocolate shakedespite ordering one of their specials at the time. Presentation of the food was well done and everything was hot and freshlymade. We probably will not return here again given the number of options in the area. Read more
Good food but certainly worthwhile to hire more help. Always looks busy and the service is poor for lack of employees! We waited... too long until finally we requested to be helped. Kind employees but is not enough to provide good service and being able toenjoy the good food!!! Read more
This chain was my favorite restaurant. Their burgers got smaller and the price kept increasing. Not only their food got worst,... their customer service did the same. Tonight I decided to have their BP Burger after a while. Years ago it was very good. Indrive thru (inside is boaring and dead), I ordered it and drove back home. As I opened it, it was terrible and burned out. I wasvery hungry but couldn't tolerate its smell and look. Decided to bring it back and talk to manager. He found out it's Veggieburger! All he offered was an exchange. After waisting all my time and long drive. He also wanted me to prove that I ordered BPburger. As he found out all is recorded on my dashcam, he gave up. I decided to go somewhere else for dinner and didn't get theburger. Disgraceful. Read more
Stopped in for lunch today. I was headed to El Reys for a taco, but then I smelled these burgers and quickly rerouted, and man... am I gad I did. This cheeseburger hit the spot. Read more
