We love BJ's half off pizza's on Mondays. We normally go to the Willowbrook location, but tried this one in Katy instead. ... Our pizzas were very good and our service was great. They even offered drinks at Happy Hour prices, the Willowbrook locationdoesn't, so that's as plus. We were surprised how few people were in at the Katy location. So we'll come back just to be lesscrowded which helps with better service. Read more
Food was good with the exception of the guacamole in my burger. Looks like it was not fresh and it is stored from the day... before, see picture. I work as a banquet captain and one of the main and most important serving directions I give to mypersonnel is never to pass hand to hand food plates to the customers and at least 3 of the waitstaff in the restaurant at luchtime, did exactly that. SAT night dine in. 10pm (open til 1am) Receptionist NOT HAPPY.she looked for a table on her chart, then turned around to get... menus -I said "do we follow you" she looked up and just knodded her head. Waiter had a better attitude helpful and promt. Foodwas 5/10 .so definitely overpriced and underseasoned. I ordered shrimp scami pasta AND added chicken . Still wak . My hubandordered steak tri-tip . Said it tasted like it was cooked brisket style.7/10 Margarita flight was rocks only and tasted weak .$13. The food quality was like chilis with pappaduax pricing. I shoulda went to chilis and enjoyed my meal for fraction of theprice. I wouldnt go back . Read more
First friend order slow roast tri-tips, well-done didn’t look burned and still juicy. Another friend order 6” Great White... pizza deep dish, is comparable to Domino’s pizza. Mine is bistro burger, didn’t see spinach or pickled red onions maybe theygot burned. Next time ask them to be fresh on the burger. Customer capacity: 70%. Serve time: 45+ mins. Read more
Dining IN here is great and I would strongly recommend the dine in. Great food and great services. The orders to-go need so... many improvements that the rating is balancing at a three. This is the third to-go that I have done and all three were bad. I donot recommend ordering for pickup or curbside here. They won't come out to you for curbside (I tested this and they failed) andso you really need to go in and pick up your order. On all three to-go visits the order was wrong or the food was inconsistentwith the dine in orders. Trip one, the cookie was the wrong one when I saw it at home and I had to remind them to give me theice cream and toppings for the cookie which did not match up well. Trip two, the order was wrong and had to be redone when Iopened to review it, the food was undercooked and they tried to give me a 5 pack of beer but charge me for a 6 pack (WOW!!).Trip three was the final miss, the chicken was seriously overcooked, the portion size of the sides was insulting and the saladwas not prepared as requested. I asked for no onions on the website so naturally there were extra onions, I requested extradressing and only got 1 cup that was not full. The rest of the food varied by being either overdone or not cooked as requested.I don't always have time to sit at the restaurant but this is no longer on my list of take-out places. The food is always good here. I had the Bistro Burger and my had the Barbacoa Chichen. For a chain restaurant they really... prepare the food well. Attentive servers, good prices, good food and a clean restaurant. Check them out. Read more
I always order the avocado rolls; they never disappoint. The nachos were good, but not great. I've definitely had better nachos... at many other places. The quinoa Mac and cheese was almost flavorless... I can confidently say I make better Mac & cheese athome. (I'm the person that brings the Mac on Thanksgiving by request) ???? js. I went to BJ's Katy , Texas with my family and it was the worst experience for us in a restaurant. My wife's sandwich was... contaminated with mold. A large green stain of mold, that this happens in this type of establishment is something unacceptable. I took photos of the contaminated sandwich. I am writing this email to put this incident on the record because my wife atehalf of the sandwich and she got sick for 2 days. Also, Because the manager Of the store didn't handle the situation properlyand Corporate Office neither. We left the rest of our food because we didn’t trust its quality.
