I?m not normally one to go out for breakfast, but there are several exclusively breakfast/lunch/brunch restaurants that are... changing my mind. One of them is First Watch, and the location I have visited more than any other is this one, night next to theI-10 frontage road in Katy. Much like the other First Watch locations, this one is medium in size with tables and chairs plus abar with additional seating, perfect for those times when you may want to dine solo. It is located next to a strip mall so thereshould be no problem finding a place to park. Just walk in and the hostess will be ready to greet you and seat you. What I likebest about First Watch is the food. It is natural and wholesome, with veggies and fruits galore. I usually order one of theomelets when I visit, but I have been known to switch to pancakes or a sandwich and side when the mood is right. Sure, there arethe occasional sugary options on the menu, but you don?t have to look hard to find something healthy, low- calorie, vegetarian,etc. The drinks at First Watch are equally intriguing. They usually have multiple, healthy options on the menu. I normally gofor a kale tonic with my meal, but they also serve a few specialty drinks that often get my attention. Service at this locationis prompt and courteous, too. It?s good to try to eat healthier and First Watch is a great choice for those who want to load upon fruits and vegetables. I always feel good when I visit here, and I leave feeling even better. First Watch in Katy hasrestored my interest in dining out for a morning or midday meal and it?s a place I recommend for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. Read more
10/5 stars. The environment was beautiful. Everyone was smiling and friendly. When I walk in a sat at the bar greeted by... Terrence. His customer service skills were the best I?ve seen! He was very attentive and hard working he seemed to be working onhis toes at all times! Then I met Jacob when I food was brought out. Very hard working and he was constantly helping a customeror team member. I would say this location is the top store I have visited in the HOUSTON AREA. GREAT community here at FirstWatch. Thank you. Excellent breakfast, and service. The OJ tasted fresh squeezed. I miss that about Europe...so I reminisced. The lemon ricotta... pancakes were wonderful and just the right amount of sweet. The million dollar bacon was like candy. I will be back! Read more

I was thinking about French toast but then decided to get the chocolate chip pancakes and million dollar bacon. I wasn't sure if... I should go for the single or double chocolate chip pancake and decided for only two dollars more I might as well go for thedouble. Two pancakes and four pieces of bacon was more food than I needed to be eating. However all that food was only about$13. Top pancake was perfect, but the bottom one didn't have anywhere near as many chocolate chips. Bacon was good, cooked justthe way I like it where it's a little chewy and a little crispy. Read more
We really enjoyed the first watch. I ordered the breakfast quinoa bowl and the Floridian French toast. The staff was very... friendly and attentive, and although the whole experience took some time, this didn't bother us since we weren't in arush Price/quality was really good and sitting outside was nice. This was my first time dining in. I've ordered togo previously. I arrived afternoon and was seated immediately by my server,... Nova. She was a genuinely kind and courteous young lady. It's always refreshing to come across such positive people in therestaurant industry. My food was out in about 10 minutes. I had never had chicken sausage until now. The flavor was immaculate,and I prefer it over pork sausage. The flapjack was fluffy and not too sweet. The overall meal was well balanced yet light.
