The low-esh rating is based on the taste of the fried catfish. The catfish was not cleaned of the grey fat thus giving it a... dirty taste. I have experienced this at other places that purchase cheap catfish fillets or fail to clean the fillets properly.This practice of serving dirty catfish is why people say they don't like catfish. Clean fillets make a huge difference in taste.My fried shrimp were also overcooked, really rubbery. Can not recommend the fried catfish and shrimp. The service was good andthis is a family friendly restaurant. The pricing is in-line with today's economy. My wife enjoyed her burger and sweet potatofries. If a Manger would have been checking on tables I could have expressed my concern with the quality of the seafood. Read more
We came to Mia?s table for Dinner on a Friday Night. The restaurant was very busy and had a cafeteria feel to it. You order your... food at the front then proceed to find any open table in a first come first serve basis. We ordered the Kids? Mac N Cheese,Chicken Fried Steak, and Southern Fried Chicken. The food was pretty good and we had a nice meal. We did try the free soft serveice cream and it is better than the ones at Jason Deli?s. Overall, it feels like an upgraded Luby?s. The prices are expensivebut you?re getting freshly prepared meals rather than something that has been sitting on a warmer. The servers were very niceand attentive. They cleaned up the tables very quickly so that diners can find an open table to eat at. Great casual dining forfamilies. Don?t go here if you?re looking for a quiet night out. Read more

My family & I have been here at least 10x. It?s our favorite quick ?I don?t feel like cooking? restaurants. I swear EVERYTHING... IS GOOD HERE! They have a little bit of everything & I haven?t tasted anything bad here. Pulled pork Sammy is SO GOOD, The bbqsauce is delicious! The catfish is excellent, However if you have a sodium intolerance like myself, I wouldn?t get it. It?svery good, but I had to stop ordering it ????) The grilled pork chops are my husbands favorite. My daughter has gotten themfried before & was the best southern confident food. Perfect seasoning. The burgers here are big & flavorful,.. I can go in fordays about the food? You just have to try it for yourself. The service is always consistently good. The cashiers to the serversare so kind. They?re constantly walking around cleaning and smiling at everyone.
