Great food and great staff!! My mom was craving empanadas and we heard good things about this place, so we decided to give it a... shot. We got there and there was 2 big parties but got seated right away. Staff was very friendly and efficient considering howbusy they were. Food was excellent except for the chicken empanadas. But that's because of the seasonings they used wasn't toour taste. Nothing against them it's just us being picky. We also got the meat empanada, humita (corn) empanada and ham & cheeseempanada. All very delicious as was the beef and pork thin sausage. Chimichurri was excellent but we didn't care for the bellpepper condiment only because we are not fans of bell peppers. Excellent restaurant that’s truly a hidden gem. Definitely worth a drive over. The skirt steak and tenderloin is excellent... with chimichurri. You can smell the authentic grill walking from parking lot. Fine, trendy dining decor and service was veryaccommodating. The empanadas were amazing, as well as the flan and cookie cake dessert(cannot recall the name). I misplaced myphone while leaving and the staff searched high and low to help me find it. (Our group had it and mistook it as theirs!) Thewine was also good. Great place to have Sunday lunch with the family or for date night. Highly recommend and will be back againand again. - only critique is mixed veggies could be spiced up a little bit. Thanks!! Read more
Unfortunately, my experience ordering for pick up was not good. First, it is absurdly difficult to place the order as staff... barely speaks English. Eventually, order was placed and picked up but upon opening packages at home it seemed the rice portionsent was way too small (see photo; milk cartoon serves as reference). I called and attempted to clarify whether they had made amistake and sent something for less than 3 people which was the original order. That task was just impossible to be completed asthe individual on the phone could not understand what the question was and kept providing responses disconnected from thequestion. Ultimately, he said he was going to report my complaint to the manager… Curious as to what he’d report since hecould not grasp the issue. At that point I just gave up, thanked him and hung up. I, certainly, cannot recommend this place toanyone. UPDATE: I am glad you ask abou the food. No, it did not live up to the expectations. Everything was very bland andtasteless. Read more
I’m very picky when it comes to food from Argentina since it is where I am from. Honestly, the food was very good! The... empanadas were super moist, and the crust was perfectly crunchy and soft at the same time. The bread was homemade and came outsuper warm. Which was also the same bread used for my milanesa sandwich. Milanesa was also warm and actually had taste to it andit was thicker than I’ve had other places (I had steak milanesa) it was nice they didn’t add any ketchup or Mayo, because Icould add it myself. Chimichurri was good as well. Everything came out warm and just all around very good. Wife has the flanksteak (vacio) and I would give that a 7/10. However, Still very good. Great place! This is our first time coming to this location, and it didn’t disappoint. Wenordered the Pink Sangria... (delicious), Picanha Parrilada was more than enough for 2, we took some to go. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Youmust try the Cortadito coffee to help with digestion. The service was excellent! The owner was on-site and came to ourtable and greeted us. This place is a gem on a busy street in Katy. We were waited on by a sweet lady named Andrea and she was on point with... recommendations for both food and drink. The bar menu was ideal for the size and style of restaurant. The parilliada is morethan two guys could eat and had great cuts. The sides were fantastic as well.
