Okay, so my first trip I ordered the Detox smoothie and I raved about how good it was! I'm honestly a Smoothie King fanatic for... taste so when I tried TSC I was impressed with its freshness and thought it could almost stand up against a Clean Juice smoothiebecause they only use organic produce but every visit after the first has been a miss! I'm always pulling bits and pieces out mymouth and it's just been utter disappointment since. Like no flavor..no love, no nada. I find myself going back trying torecapture my first experience but they continue to miss the mark. I tried the Triple Berry Oat but it too was a disappointment. Went back to the detox and it's just not giving..smh. So, after 5 visits only the first visit gave what it needed to. I thinktoday was my last try. Read more

I feel its overpriced and under delivered for what it is. I've tried almost everything and 9/10 times I add extra meat to... anything I get cause it's never filling enough. Smoothies feel like they're 90% ice then 5% what ever frozen fruit blend youchoose and 5% sugar water. I've lived in the old part of katy for almost 10 years and was super excited to have this here andate there almost 3 times a week when it opened....I feel like the management has changed a few times, but I've tried to likethis place so much. Family and I have been enjoy this place since they opened up! Great staff and great smoothies and food! My new favorite is the... Watermelon Mojito! So refreshing and the food is always so good! The flat bread sandwiches and apple kale coleslaw are ourfavorites! Read more

I always go to their drive thru or pickup. I never have any problems except for the quality. The smoothies are a hit or a miss... every time. I?m leaving a review this time because when I put in a specific time for pickup, I would imagine my order would befresh. I put in the pickup time for 9:15 and seen that my drink was made at 9. I wouldn?t mind this any other day except mysmoothie was way too liquidy and my food was too cold. Read more

Corporate needs to shutdown this location. Absolutely the worst Tropical Cafe store. All my orders for the past few months have... been wrong or disgusting. Today I bought my daughter a cheese quesadilla and just after I got home and she tried I realized itwas completely burnt and basically no cheese. I tried to call the store and no one answers. Not ever getting a salad from here again. How do you serve a salad with sandwich ingredients!? 1 piece of chicken? Wilted... lettuce!? Should be bacon bits and diced tomatoes. I mobile ordered 20mins prior to arrival and they still didn't have it ready. Read more

This smoothie cafe has a horrible customer services and the store is not very pleasant. Every time, we go to the cafe, they... have a new staff and they don't really know what they are doing. This week, it has been very bad experience for us. the ladyin pink claimed herself as a manager. When we walked in, we felt the chaotic in the stores already, she had a bad attitude andwhen she served, she was rude. She pounded the glass container to the base of the blender when she made the smoothie. Our daywas instantly turned into bad day. I felt no more appetize and the mess (Food and spilled smoothies are all over the places) arenasty. We didn't feel the smoothies would be good. When she started to make our smoothies, she missed the measurement and wejust said that are you going to make it right for us. And she got so offended and when she dumped the smoothies to the cup,they were all spilled around the cup. We asked to put in another cup so it won't make our hands sticky. She started yelling atus (customers) and it would charge $1 a cup. She was very angry and asked my name and my daughter name. Requesting to take ourreward card away which we received during the store grand open. It was very awful customer service. We told her that it is allabout the customer satisfaction nicely and she said she didn't care and said she was the manager (the lady in the pink shirt inthe picture). I don't think we will go back to this store anymore although we have the free smoothies each week. Thesmoothies, of course, was no good because the way she made it.
