Vegetable biryani had chicken piece and tennis ball size potatoes! Roti was not roasted.

I walked in to order my food. One gentleman was standing in front of me paying. No acknowledgment no greeting. Another man walks... up and pays still no acknowledgement. He completes his transaction and another man walks in from outside. I try to order my foodand the old man behind the desk tell the young working the register to serve that man first. I walk out and leave. Let?s say ifyou are not Indian you don?t get any service or a man. Read more

I wouldn?t recommend this place for vegetarian food. Bad quality food and small samosas are very salty and paneer tikka masala... was too sour, bhindi masala was not even cooked. Also the place was not clean. There was food scattered below table. Read more

I asked for no cilantro on any of the dishes and added that it would make me ill. There was still cilantro on two of the... dishes, the garlic naan bread and the garden patch vegetables. I called to inform them and he told me to "just take it offma'am. You can't take cilantro off of bread and dig around in vegetable with sauce to dig out cilantro, that was the purpose ofthe note. Will definitely not order from this place again. Not even an apology. Read more

Update: I've tried going back to Veggie Heaven 3 times but the owner/manager who was so helpful the first time we came was not... in the restaurant on the later visits. The young man, though helpful, did not have an understanding of vegan food and onlyoffered us very limited menu options. I do not feel comfortable order vegan food from someone or someplace that does notunderstand what this means. The broader options provided during our first visit were wonderful, but upon multiple tries withoutsatisfactory results I will have to remove this from my vegan options. I am sure the rest of the menu is great. Periodically Ido a "vegan restaurant" search in my area and Voila a new result showed up this week!!! Veggie Heaven is a separate kitcheninside Larosh Grill supporting the vegetarian/vegan side of the restaurant. What a wonderful find!! I am SO excited to haveanother very local, vegan option to put on our restaurant rotation. Today's order was the Aloo Matar Masala, Daal, Rice (SO muchbetter than the picture on the website), and Whole Wheat Naan. Everything vegan! The owner was very helpful when we told him wewere vegan. Even though the vegetarian options are clearly defined, it is really best to talk to him so that he can fullyexplain which options are vegan. Everything is made to order so they are able to work easily to provide vegan options. We willmost definitely be back. Read more

The owner just gave me this, after I placed my order. He knew I was starving, and this DEFINITELY saved my day. Also: the... potatoes and spinach is delicious and lifesaving! Rice is thoroughly cooked. Read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Houston. I am a vegetarian, and love that they make it easy to just pick... anything I want from the menu. The food is delicious, and it is so easy to get it delivered. We love everything we have tried. My kids fight over the Naan. A must try! Read more
