This restaurant chain is usually a favorite of mine and I ordered what I always order... pulled pork and cabbage with a side of... macaroni salad. The Keaau L n L BBQ store did not meet the standard. The person who took my call was hard to understand, thecabbage was over cooked and borderline mushy, and the whole dish had zero flavor out side of cooked cabbage and meat. It shouldhave tasted slightly salty with a decent savory broth, the one big piece of meat that was on my plate was mostly gristle and Idislike eating gristle even though it can lend to good flavor, and the meat was not the proper serving it was miserably far lessthan usual. Absolutely terrible taste. It feels like everything was soaked in soy sauce. I know what Chinese food tastes like. And that is... definitely not it. I ate a little bit of it and trashed the rest. Read more
The food is fresh and they have a great selection of local food,chinese and american. I got a 2 choice plate and they give me... really big scoops that i have leftovers for they next day. The price isnt bad either. I would go before 12 or 5 thats when itsnot to busy and they just put out for lunch or dinner so everything is so fresh and good. The healthy choice garlic shrimp was delicious and with a generous portion of grilled shrimp. The accompanying salad was fresh... and with lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and purple canbage. Visually appealing and a good value. Read more
My niece ordered 2 beef broccoli plates for us. The broccoli was hard and huge pieces with stems. The plate came with 4 small... pieces of beef hidden within. Noodles had no taste, no vegetables, no meat, very bland. Fried Rice was hard and bland as well.When called the restaurant to voice our opinion, the manager got very defensive and rude instead of offering a conclusion tothe unsatisfying situation. ???? Usually go to lemongrass. Wanted something different so I went to L & L. The food wasn?t even hot. Not even warm. It was almost... cold. The chicken was breaded and so old the breading was soggy and eating it was literally like eating stale cold McDonald?sFrench fries. I will NEVER eat here again. Wasted money.
