One star for false advertising. I went in and ordered a 12? Mozza which is on the board for $10.69. When I went to pay, the... cashier said the button on the register is gone so she would have to charge me for a ham plus capricola $8.69 plus $4.00. I toldher this was ridiculous and she deadpanned me and said I could take it or leave it. Really ? Is this how you run a businessthese days ? Read more
I ordered a 6 inch Tuna Sub with extra Mayo and a 6 inch Turkey and Ham sub, however both were dry. I asked for it to be cut... into 4 pieces, that didn't happen. I guess following simple instructions is hard. This location is the worst I have everexperienced. Rather go to Puainako location where customer services and satisfaction is key. Waste my money. Had just flown into Kona and was driving on the way to hotel near volcanoes late at night. Was told they were closed 7 minutes... before closing. Understandably that no one?s wants to reclean late at night but you?re still open till 9 and thus still opentill 9. Really just needed a cold sandwich since it seems that this island lacks late night armenities other than McDonalds. Read more
The sandwiches were great, the guy putting on all the condiments and vegies was really nice and helpful, however, the initial... server starting my order was awful! I have an egg sensitivity and was inquiring about what might have egg in it that I ought toavoid. She said she didn't know. I asked if there was anyway she might be able to find out and she said, "No." She didn'tconsider asking her supervisor or any of the other servers. She was flat out not willing to help. Awful! We got two footlong basic sandwiches - no additional charges and one medium soda... Somehow they charged us $35. That's insane.... Watch your bill, they're overcharging and I should have said something before I left I just could quite understand how they gotthat price. Read more
