First time at Giambalvo's. There was a mistake and someone else took our pizza, so it was a really long wait. When we did get... our pizza it was cold. We eat here frequently. It is my daughter's favorite restaurant. We just ate there yesterday for dinner. All of our entrees ... were very good. My wife had a pizza and my daughter had the tortellini. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with a cup ofthe soup, it was delicious. The only real issue was that we had the cheese wheel for an appetizer and it was fried on theoutside but the cheese was still hard and not warm in the middle. Not a big issue. Our server was great. Stopped here because it was close to our hotel (and kid friendly), and we were not disappointed! The pizza was delicious, but if... you don't get the Rose Pasta you're wasting your calories. That sauce is crazy good. They need to put it on a pizza and solveworld peace. Read more

The pasta dishes here are AMAZING? especially the Alfredo. The meatballs and the pizza are fantastic along with the chicken... bacon ranch sandwich!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and presentation of the food. This restaurant is a great addition toKearney and I will definitely spread the word. We loved the food. The staff wasn?t very attentive. We ran out of drinks and didn?t get no refills. She passed our table several... times and kept on staring at us but still no more drinks were given. When she gave us the ticket. She told us to pay when we canbut not where. My wife and I tried this place out for the first time. We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese along with the Italian Steak... sandwich and the Italian Sausage sandwich with pasta salad and a side salad. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese hadgreat flavor, but could have been better if it was hot. The pasta salad had a very overpowering pesto flavor and the Italiandressing for the salad had too much oil for our taste. The Italian steak sandwich was good but very greasy like it was taken outthe fryer and placed right on the bread without letting it drain off the excess oil,plus it was missing the marinara sauce,instead had a sweet sauce on it. My wife liked the sausage sandwich just wished the sausage was sliced length wise to fill thebread. We chalked this up as it could have been a off day. Ordered meatballs and a sausage & pepper sandwich. The meatballs were all raw inside and there was virtually no sauce on the... meatballs. My husband said there was no sauce and the sandwich was mostly bread. Which We did not complain about because we didnot know yet. He called they are refunding our meatballs. Here is a photo of the 3 raw meatballs with no sauce. Verydisappointed. I do appreciate the refund on the meatballs. I gave a 3 star just because of the great service we receivedotherwise from staff. We stayed across the street at Holiday Inn and this place was delicious! Absolutely try the meatballs and fried ravioli. ... They have a small bar with both indoor & outdoor seating. We'll definitely go again if we're in the area. Read more
