I used to love the cellar, but the last few times we have went there to eat was a disappointment. We decide to give it one more... try since they had remodeled. Tonight we walked in the front door while employees smoked near the entrance. Not a good firstimpression. Our waiter Damon was wonderful, but the quality of food was below average. I got the chicken fried steak. The gravyhad no flavor, the corn was mushy (similar to reheated corn in the microwave) and the dinner rolls were too hard to eat. Theonly reason this is getting 2 stars is because Damon was a very good waiter. Maybe instead of spending the money on remodelingit should have been invested in hiring a more qualified cook. Was once one of the best places in Kearney to eat, but since changing owners it has gone down hill fast... food is terrible... quality. They have much less variety and are using lower quality ingredients. Stay away! Read more
Good service. Great food. I enjoyed a delicious prime rib, broccoli and baked potato meal.
