I love this place, but it does have its quirks at times. I moved to the area a few years ago and never tried Indonesian food... before. After the first time me and my wife went we were absolutely hooked. The food was just amazing. It felt like home a homecooked meal but and the flavor can't be compared to anything around. The drinks are very good, unique, and really the best bangfor the buck around if you're looking to get a little tipsy. They have a really wide selection. The owners are incredibly nicepeople that always try to make time to greet everyone even when they are really busy. We have done carry out a few times withsome inconsistent results, the owners did accommodate us and made it up to us though. Food here is made on the spot and not somefrozen meal a restaurant is reheating to serve you. That being said, you will wait for your order, it takes time it's not a fastfood joint. Grab a drink and hang out for a while while you wait. This is a really great place to try if you're thinking aboutand are a fan of this type if cuisine I highly recommend it! Read more

This is a hidden gem in Keego Harbor! I used to come here when it was The Modern which also had great food and a chill vibe.... After it closed down a few years back it stood empty for a while and I could not be more thrilled when Indo moved in. The foodis outstanding, the vibe is still so chill, the owner and servers are super friendly, and I LOVE to hang on the patio when theweather is nice. I give Indo two enthusiastic thumbs up: it is definitely one of my favorite mom n pop joints in theneighborhood. Read more

Had a fantastic time. Food was exceptional, incredibly tasty and tender. Staff was super kind and generous. Even my 85 year old... grandfather who only eats meat and potatoes thoroughly enjoyed his food. If you haven't already, you need to give it a try. Read more

Great restaurant with great food. The chef, Melik, is awesome at what she does. If you're looking for authentic Indonesian food,... or just something exotic & different than the everyday norm, check out INDO. Read more

Way too long of a wait to get your order for average food like that. I don't even think it's authentic Indonesian cuisine, I... just had to try it. I'll stick to Indian cuisine, way better flavors. Also, this restaurant needs to be remodeled bad. Read more

Food was really good. We ordered sate daging ( beef date) , Indonesian beef soup, Java chicken , Indonesian fried rice, spring... rolls. Everything are delicious. Will definitely come in again for my beef rendang and fried Java chicken ! I'm orginally fromMalaysia and able to taste food somewhat like malay food in Malaysia makes me happy ! I heard the chef , Melik's husband, Niktold me that his wife cook everything from scratch. So, sometimes the wait time can be longer. Hey! To eat good food, it's wortha wait !! Anyway, overall, my daughter loves the sate and beef soup while I'm enjoying their curry beef and java chicken . Read more

Absolutely Love her food!!! And her Rendang is some of the best. Have been here several times, and have honestly never gotten a... dish I didn't like. The flavors are very well developed, and you can tell how much effort was put into each dish. Owner/chefcould not be more welcoming. During our dinner she came out to check on us, and then brought us a special drink she had beensimmering for 3 to 4 hours. Told us it was something that her mother made for her as a child, and she wanted to share it withus. It was amazing, and unlike anything else I'd ever drank. It had Ginger and citrus and some spices, hard to even describe, but amazing! It is the picture of the cup that I posted. Photos posted are of the dinner for two meal option. Gives you anassortment of things to try. But I didn't post the shredded mango salad that came first, we ate it too fast to get a photo. LolAnd then the two dessert options we chose. Last thing I will say is 'Don't let the outside of the building fool you'. It lookslike a grocery store or market, but once you walk through the door, it's a full restaurant and looks nice inside. Definitely ahidden gem worth trying. Read more
