If I could give less than one star I would. We went out to celebrate a family dinner, 7 of us. We got there 6:30 we ordered... dinner and the server kept coming back out saying we dont have this, we dont have that, we said ok and made changes. Let metell you the prime rib was gross, tough, fatty and cooked more than. well done, it was ordered med rare. The filet was overdone small tough gritty and tasteless. The pasta primavera was mushy and lacked flavor. We were there 2 & 1/2 hours for ahorrific dinner. We were regulars for many years, we will never go there again. The place seemed like a good family restaurant so my boyfriend and I tried a carryout. I ordered steak tips that come with zip... sauce and a side caesar salad. Since the "sauce" is so thin and they don't serve it on the side for carryout, it leaked all overthe bag because their boxes have air vents. Went back in to request a side of zip sauce and they served it in the same box.Odd.... You'd think a sauce would be served in a sealed cup. It didn't look like zip sauce at all.... The steak tips are justhunks of tough, overcooked meat that can barely be cut with a steak knife. The caesar was good. The burger was dry and the friesweren't even good.... not sure how that even happens. I wouldn't recommend and would never order again or want to dine in asone of their customers at the bar was noticeably over intoxicated AKA drunk and annoying other customers. First time here the food was pretty good. Came back a few months later and while the service was great the food was bland and... overall not that good. I'm not sure if something changed but I would think twice before dining here unless you're retired. Read more
Take a step back to the good parts of the 1970s in this restaurant. Furnished in 1970 and never updated BUT KEPT IMMACULATELY... CLEAN. Food was amazing. Best kept secret: stuffed mushrooms . Stuffed with crab and cheese, it could be a meal by itself. Willabsolutely return. Read more
The other night it was my wife and I 3 year wedding anniversary. We usually go to a restaurant to celebrate. I decided to... surprise her and take her somewhere she's never been before. Our server was Tina and she was very professional and nice. My wifehad ordered filet mignon with baked potato and she enjoyed every bite! I had the Atlantic salmon bourbon glaze with bakedpotato. We both had a side of soup. Not only was the food hot and ready, but for everything that we paid it was well worth theprice!! We both had a great experience and we'll come back for sure. If you're ever in the area, I would definitely stop in. Andthe bathroom and dining room was well-maintained and clean. Read more
I had their seafood pasta which had fresh dill, crab and shrimp in it and the side salad with house made blue cheese. My... daughter had their chicken tenders which were fresh with fries and their garlic bread sticks were delicious aswell. We've livedin the neighborhood for almost 12 years and this was our first trip in. We will order from them again soon. Read more
Harbor Steak House is an okay place to grab some surf and turf but I feel my experience could have been better. The staff is... okay, I figured since it was just my family there it shouldn't be too much, but it felt as if the staff couldn't give usanything on time or refilled our drinks. The food was good when it was warm but I ordered prime rib and it was a little on thecold side. Would I go back to this place? Probably some time in the future because they do have good appetizers and the foodreally isn't too bad. Read more
Mixed review: Ridiculous confusion with our reservation. Apparently I had reserved our table with the owner but he didn't write... it down properly. On the other hand, the food was very good. I think this restaurant does the hard things well and messes up theeasy stuff. Read more
