Great food and very nice service. It is an expensive place, so expect to spend a fair amount. However, the food was very good... quality and the portions are decent and reasonable. We had our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding, and we loved every minute of it! We have come back many times since then... and always feel welcome and cared for. I could not find the flavors advertized. My paella was not paella. All of the elements were seemingly put together in the bowl... at the end and made to look like the dish. The flavors in a paella, the texture, was not there. The size of the dish was supersmall to boot. Nice place but the meals at our table were bland. A couple simple dishes were on point. I meant to take a photo of the food but it was too good and I devoured the burger before I could. I had the brie mushroom burger... and asked for rare. They cooked it perfect! All the flavors were incredible. This place is amazing and is now going to be aregular stop for us when we are in Keene. Read more
Once of the best in the area for those who are not interested in eat and run. A true laid back and relaxing environment to... simply decompress, enjoy a drink and fabulous food! I would recommend calling to make reservations as this is a very busy place.Parking can also be a challenge depending on the time and day. We decided to come here spur of the moment and had a 20 minutewait . This was fine as there is plenty to see and do well within walking distance. We received the call that the table wasready, we walked back over and was seated. We had a late lunch , "around 2:15" and we discovered that they close to incomingcustomers between "I think" 3:00 to 5:00? So be prepared for this as well. How ever, the quality of the food is fabulous. Portions, the protein, fat and carb ratios were spot on as well! And deserts, Yes! Pricing is very reasonable for the food aswell. We arrived sans reservation during a light rain. We'd walked the downtown of Keene when some other plans went awry. Just as we... emerged from a bookstore, the rain picked up. We hiked as quickly as we could the blocks back to the car, parked on the squareand deposited the haul of books. We started looking for a place for dinner in earnest at that point. Told there was a long waitat a nearby eatery, we said " no, thanks" and investigated Luca's. The gentleman doing the seating kindly accommodated us at atwo top. We had a fabulous meal. Cavatappi Alfredo (hubby) and Chicken Française (my choice). Our waiter Nathan was able toread a table perfectly...he was attentive without becoming overbearing. We didn't have wine with the meal, but I heard him givewhat I would consider excellent advice on a wine to pair with dinner to the couple at the next table. We ordered a salad andiced tea each and for two, an excellent meal came in at just over $60. This was one of the best meals of our vacation to date.Bravo, Luca's!! Read more
