Was in the area checking out the shops and decided to give this place a try for lunch. About a 20 min wait for outside seating.... ( it was pretty busy , they did a good job cleaning off tables and getting people seated ) I got the fried chicken sandwich, mywife got a burger. Both came out fairly quick and hot. Both where delicious! Good fries ,crisp and hot. Waitstaff was pleasant.I thought the prices where very reasonable. Lunch with drinks for $50 plus tip these days is very reasonable. Had a wonderful lunch here! The outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny day. My husband got a burger, I got a salad with steak,... and we shared calamari. The cocktail menu is unique and they are beautiful! I must note, if you are a blue cheese fan, thehomemade blue cheese here is delicious! Read more
A bit crowded, if you can get a corner seat away from the noise that would be optimal for a good dining experience. Food is... delicious (my favorite: Braised Short Ribs). I also recommend their California Wrap for lunch, it?s a healthier option thatdoesn?t sacrifice flavor. If you like to drink this is the place for you as they have a nice selection of uniquely blendedcocktails, in addition to beer, wine and all the basics. First time going to The Stage for brunch. It was Mother's Day and we knew we would need to wait as it was first come, first... served. We were seated within the time range they gave. We shared an appetizer of Brussel Sprouts, nice maple flavor with amaple aoli to dip. The Bloody Mary was pretty standard, although one of us got a fancy bacon one. Me and another person went for lunch here. I have been told good things about this place, so we went. We had to wait a little... bit to be seated. I understand about the lack of staff thing it's everywhere. So we got to our seats looking around wasn't thatbusy. The menu had lunch and brunch options. We decided to go for just appetizers because there wasn't a big selection. So weordered the fried calamari and the Korean chicken. When we got our food I tried the chicken first. It was good the flavor wasgreat and the carrot slaw was a good pairing to the spicy sauce. My only complaint is that the smaller pieces were very hard andand over cooked. The calimari was super chewy to the point of it was difficult to eat the entire thing with 2 people. Everyplace I have been when ordering this plate has dipping sauces. This particular dish had that sauce under and on top as well. Itmade the dish very soggy and off putting. The flavor of the sauces were good though and good portion size. The wait staff wasnice welcoming. I will try again but not on a Sunday morning. Hope next time will be a better experience. Read more
Super awesome place, kinda like Keene's own Cheer's. Our bartender Melissa, was super cool, she made the perfect Autumn... margarita and ginger martini. The french onion soup was amazing, just like homemade, the entire staff treats you like familyall surfaces are wiped down when a group leaves, making it ready for the next. No lie, we drove from Derry, NH (90 minutes) to stop for lunch. Been to Stage once before, so this time I brought it my wife to... experience it. Got a parking spot right by the door. Got seated in a matter of minutes in one of the bar hightops, the place wasvery busy but you wouldn't know it by the quality of the service, accuracy of the order and the attention of the staff. The Stage is a gorgeous restuarant in a restored Art Deco lounge. Indoor & outdoor seating, beautiful bar, terrific staff, fun... menu, and perfect craft cocktails. The omelets & avocado toast were exceptional; one of the best brunches we've ever had. Can'twait to go back for dinner. Read more
