Great food and smoothies!
So over the last few months, my family and I came here very often. The food here is great, the staff are amazing. Although I?m a... senior in high school, I?ve been practicing driving recently and a few times after. We?d come here for a smoothie every now andthen. We?ve had a really positive experience with this place until today. Where my dad and I stopped here for lunch and I got myusual chicken pesto flatbread. Nothing was wrong at first, my smoothie hit the spot and I saw a wholesome family walk in. Butthen our food got here, I opened the wrapper and noticed that the pesto sauce was a lot darker than it normally is. I didn?tthink much of it until around 20 minutes later, in which I started to get nauseous. I threw up a few times and my stomach washurting. A few hours later, I threw up 4 more times (Yes, I am counting lol) and I got even more symptoms, such as rashes,redness on my face, dizziness, chills, and of course vomiting. If I had to guess, whatever was wrong with the pesto sauce waseither cross contamination or food poisoning, but either way. It was still a painful experience. Whoever made my sandwich reallyshould?ve been paying attention to how drastically different the pesto sauce looked than normal and should?ve just not put it onmy sandwich. It really isn?t that hard. Want to hear another sad thing? I was gonna work here, but I?ve changed my mind now. Ithink the people working are really kind, but after a story like this. I?m choosing not to work here and from now on, I will goto a different Tropical Smoothie Cafe, because I wouldn?t want to have another bad experience like this ever again. Moral of thestory, don?t eat something if it looks suspicious or different. Yeah, maybe some of this is on me, but when you think about it.It really isn?t :/. Overall nice store. Food was hot. Taste was good. Drinks were out quickly. My only complaint is the automated tip. It starts at... 15% and if you are in a hurry and not paying attention its easy to miss. They just got me for $4.36. -? Read more
