Over crowded not covid safe horrible experience overall. The owner (who wore a sneeze guard rather than an actual mask) was rude... and abrupt because I asked about a large group of people who came in without their vaccine passport being checked far beyond 6per table. The food was okay but their gluten free options were a lie (I have celiac disease), I was told by the waitress (whowas lovely) that the menu had changed several times. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Read more
Easily the best food on the mountain! I have tried most of the menu and can honestly say there isn?t anything that wasn?t... amazing... The list of drinks and cocktails is almost endless and they?re all great! The servers are so kind and helpful and theowners (Don and Theresa) are always around to make you feel incredibly welcomed and taken care of. An absolute must visit if youare heading up to Big White. Black Diamond is my go to place every time I visit Big White! The staff are always friendly and smiling, the owners Don and... Theresa make it feel like a home away from home. The menu is incredible and flavourful; a must try is the Pan Seared Calamari-always cooked perfectly, with a nice kick from the cajun rub. The cocktail list is exceptional, personal favourite is theGrapefruit Gin Fizz, which is served with an edible flower. Overall a great spot directly in the village for breakfast, lunch,dinner or a couple cheeky drinks after a few runs. Read more

The most fantastic bar and restaurant on Big White, if not in Canada!!! Exceptional hosts and service, delicious food (and we're... tasted a lot of the menu having dined here most days during our 3 week stay!) the menu has everything from seafood or steak topasta and pot pies. My favourite being the Tuna Tatami. They also have beautiful wines (their selection of chardonnay or mulledwine is incredible) and cocktails. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, open fire and a perfect wintery outlook. We highlyreccommend, we can't speak highly enough of our experiences at Black Diamond, and when you meet the owners Don and Theresayou'll know why.
