We ordered take out as we were passing through Kelowna and had stayed at a hotel near by. Order because of the 4.5 rating on... Google, but it is misleading. When we went to pick up the order, the restaurant looked nice, clean, and the staff werefriendly, however the sushi itself was awful. We ordered a couple of rolls: - the spicy tuna roll was covered in franks hotsauce, which made them inedible. - the Rainbow roll, which we thought was their Rainbow dragon was a roll wrapped around crabsalad. - the Red Dragon was the same thing, rolled around crab salad - the vegetarian roll, which was supposed to have mushroomsin it, did not... it was a thinly sliced salad put into a rice wrap. - the tempura we ordered was okay. We ended up throwingout most of the order, and getting other food it was so bad. I don't think we're sushi snobs, but you can get better sushi atthe grocery store quick meal counter. Avoid - or at the very least be very diligent in what you order! Read more

Fantastic lunch, great service. Very clean and friendly staff. I order a large amount of food for one person with the intention... of taking leftovers for a snack later. Went to Bluetail Sushi on a Thursday night and the restaurant was busy. There were continuous take out orders being picked up... during our time at the restaurant so you know their fish are fresh. We ordered the love boat, Belly dance roll (left), BC roll(middle), spicy tuna (right), cucumber roll (bottom left), and a Sake Sangria. My family and I enjoyed all their rolls. Servicewas fast and friendly. Will definately recommend this restaurant to others if they are in Kelowna. Note, I love how theyprovide a thicker disposable napkin. Read more
Nice sushi place near the hotel I stayed at. The sushi was good. The rice felt wanting (not enough rice vinegar/sweetener or it... was left out drying too long) The atmosphere is dark and typical of trendy places these days. What I really enjoyed was alittle girl, quite excited for her birthday, wasn't looked down on by patrons or staff when she was loud. The staff themselveswere very attentive, and that kind service goes a long way! Prices are very good considering. Read more
