The portion size of the meal is ridiculously small, even less than a half bowl. We ordered nearly $80 of the food, but we only... got very little food. A tofu soup is $18, and even not filled with half of the bowl. With the same $18 Jaechae I can get a fullbowl in H mart. Not recommended!!! Stay away from this restaurant if you want to ordering food! Read more

Was visiting kelowna and it?s such a great korean place, we had the bone soup , bulgogi , spicy pork and pork belly. The service... was really good and food came out super fast !! The spicy bone soup has so much meat in it, the bone itself is packed with meatand its so soft that it fell off the bone. Would definitely visit again. Read more

This place didn't really do it for me. The flavors were kinda off and the service was ok. After I was sat the server didn't come... to my table to ask if the food was ok, didn't even refill my water. I ordered the pork bone soup and was quite salty and didn'thave any vegetables in it not even bean sprouts(it was 19 dollars). I also ordered the spicy rice cakes and they were oddlypeppery like black pepper and the sauce was too loose to the point that it didn't even stick to the rice cakes. I had high hopesfor this place because the general reviews were good but it didn't hit the spot for me. I had quite a bit of left overs I didn'teven take them home. Read more

Bon Ga is one of the best restaurants in Kelowna. I love their spicy pork (jeyuk bokkeum) and their japchae is delicious and the... perfect pairing for the heat of the other dish. The seafood pancake was also enjoyed as a shared side. Highly recommend thisfamily-run business with a great, diverse menu. Read more

Update 2022: After coming back here multiple times, I noticed the restaurant cut off their meat portion significantly. Most of... the dishes, even though are still tasty, almost have little to no meat and just have rice and vegetables. Quite disappointedthat with the lowest price $15-19 dish you barely have protein in it. Checking out the recent reviews and realized this is thecommon problem as well. 2020 review: Love it! Totally will come back here again! Tasty food, affordable price, great service.Very nice and welcome atmosphere. We order beef bulgogi, pork with noodles, and seafood pancakes. All was delicious. Willrecommend the restaurant to my friends who loved Asian food. Read more

Honestly, this is hands-down one of the best (probably the best) Korean restaurant in Kelowna... only to be dragged down by the... price. I'll be happily change my review to 5 stars once the price is reduced. In my really-honest opinion, some menus were justbeyond pricey. Expect around $15 for a decently-portioned meal, before taxes and tips. The service, however, was great andorders came out very timely. The server (who I think also happens to be the owner), was very polite and welcoming. Read more
