When we walked in the first thing I noticed was how extremely dirty the place was. Lots of spilled ice cream on the floors &... walls, the marble slab that they spread the ice cream on wasn?t cleaned most likely all day, no one wearing gloves & literallytouching peoples food after handling cash, the gentlemen with a long beard did not wear a hair net, even when reaching deep intothe ice cream cooler. Interior health should really inspect this facility for food safe. We ended up ordering a small scoop in abowl that the bowl had ice cream smeared on it from a different type of ice cream that we didn?t even order. I don?t recommendthis place at all! Read more

I had an absolutely outstanding and remarkable experience in my numerous visits to marble slab. Here are 5 reasons I'm giving a... 5 star review to this gorgeous store in Kelowna: 1) The diversity of charming ice cream flavors on display for customers tomake a choice from, along with the innumerable toppings to mix into the ice cream, is sensational and impressive. 2) Knowingthat you can chose 2 flavors on any size: small, regular or large with unlimited toppings and then having to pay only ????7, ????8 or ????10 respectively for the same is incredibly reasonable. I always get a regular size and that's equivalent to a mealfor just 8 dollars is admirable. 3) I feel beyond basic customer service, the employees and the owners of the store aim forcustomer satisfaction and customer delight - its as though they greeted us with heart-warming smiles and then melted our heartsaway with their service, before the ice cream could melt in our mouth. We loved their enthusiasm, courtesy and work ethic tocreate the best ice cream my folks & I have ever eaten. We owe our sweet tooth to Marble Slab in Kelowna. :) 4) Located rightacross Boyce Gyro beach, it was extremely convenient for us to get there from the beach and technically enter into a "heaven ofdesserts" because its not only ice cream, but we also noticed they have ice cream cakes and ice cream sandwiches on sale alongwith pints of plain and custom made flavors which my brother stated was impressive on our visit as a family together. 5) Theywere flooded with customers when we visited. Despite that, we observed how they catered to every customer with utmost patienceand care. We enjoyed their gourmet creations which one of the employees recommended us to try. My brother visiting fromVancouver enjoyed the ice cream and even said: "This ice cream is perfect for any season. We're definitely coming backagain...!!!! Read more

The ice cream looks artificial, to start with. Strawberry shouldn't look bright red, pistachio not bright green, vanilla not... bright yellow. Ever seen a shining green pistachio? It should be light red, green/brown or slightly off white/light yellow, respectively, also because they're being mixed with the milk with dilutes the colours even more. One kid had a vanilla yogurtwith sprinkles and the other had chocolate. The vanilla was difficult to taste because of the yoghurt and the sprinkles so Ican't say much about that flavour. But the chocolate tasted not like what chocolate should taste like. So I looked up what's init, with 11 ingredients (!) It doesn't surprise that the flavours were just bad. Chocolate ice cream can be amazing with 4ingredients only: Full milk, heavy cream, sugar and cocoa. (Similar for other flavours.) There are places in the neighbourhoodwith colours and flavours that are closer to the ingredients - even though the kids didn't complain - but do they ever..? Read more

My Mom had a birthday coupon so I drove her to get an ice cream and walk by the lake. Because I was driving she didn?t bring her... purse with her. When we showed her coupon on her phone they asked for ID. When we said she doesn?t have her ID on her theyrefused to accept the coupon ???? So I have 2 questions 1) If having an ID is necessary to redeem the coupon why don?t youmention it in the email you send out to customers? 2) Is this a level of customer service that Marble slabs wants to provide? Webought 2 ice creams however I regret buying from them. We should have leave and get our ice cream from a local ice cream store.Lesson learned. Never going back here and unsubscribe from they email list. Read more

When we entered, there was no other customers inside. What I notice fee was this place was dirty, two workers, one greeted us... with a friendly smile the other was picking his forehead over the ice cream cooler looking off into space. I was very hesitantto order from here. They grabbed sheets to make ice cream and placed it on the not very clean slab surface that had reminants ofother orders, no one was wearing gloves. The waffle cones looked like they weren't made very well and one of the cones was soggyand the ice cream was a dripping mess. It tasted good and is probably hard to screw up but I wouldn't go back here. Read more

The ice cream tasted good but wasn?t worth the money. We spent $19 on two large dipped bowls which is a lot in my opinion... especially when my wife had to ask the lady three times to mix in the toppings because she wasn?t mixing it properly. Plus thewaffle bowls tasted a little old and stale. My wife love marble slab in Vancouver but found this place just didn?t have enoughtopping options and the service wasn?t as good. To conclude, it was good ice cream and we are happy we tried it but it would behard for us to recommend or try again when there are better options in Kelowna. Read more
