We ordered all kinds of meat tacos and fish tacos. Tripes tacos and fish tacos are my favourites. They served 3 kinds of... handmade salsa. Green and red are good, yellow is too sweet. Went there around 5pm and it was very quiet (maybe they just opened). The restaurant itself was very clean and had a nice,... spacious atmosphere to it, with authetic accents throughout. The service was very friendly and quick, and it actually felt likea Mexican restaurant. The portions were bigger than expected and well worth the price. I got the fries and they were phenomenal,definitely above my expectations!! I thought the highway noise would be a problem, nut it really wasn't (in fact it was great topeople watch!). A trip to Mexico ???????? Many restaurants have come and gone in Kelowna over the years. Some are good and some are just plain... bad. I had been skeptical of this new Mexican restaurant due to the word of mouth reviews and comments I had read and heardnonetheless my wife and I decided to give TAMM a try. Upon arival my first impressions where a bit dashed as we where greetedwith a run down exterior of a building and dirty dining tables left to their demise. Granted it's spring and everything is dirtybut dining tables that you can write your opinions on is not a good sign of the cleanliness and standards we expect. For thosewho expect a modern, hoity-toity experience move along you won't find that here. You want a Mexican home style meal created bythose who came from the mother land? This is it. Remember every restaurant has their take on recipes but granted you expectsome familiarity. We where greated buy a very energetic and polite waitresses that seated us and brought us tortilla chips anda dip (Not sure what the dip was). My wife had the Enchiladas and I had the El Domingureo. Both meals came in acceptable timeand was hot. The presentation was quite good. The flavours where good. I did find mine to be a bit salty. Everything tastedfresh and nothing was over powering. Clearly they have cooks who taste what they are cooking and are passionate for theirart. With any restaurant there is always room to improve and while I'm not the final say I will say "you should try TAMM yourself". Keep up the good work TAMM! Keep raising the bar:) Read more
The location and the interior of this restaurant is great. However, we found the food was pretty bland and uninspired. Our main... courses were very boring and tasteless and left a lot to be desired. That being said, the complementary chips and salsa werefantastic, and the drinks were pretty good as well. We found the service was great as well, despite all the negative reviews dueto bad service. If they could make the main courses more interesting and tasty, this could be a great restaurant. Read more
Stopped in last week and enjoyed our lunch. The complimentary home made nachos and salsa are really good. Had the tacos and... theyr were very tasty. They also have a great selection of Mexican food and treats in a small bodega in the restaurant,recommend checking it out. Read more
The food tasted bland to me. The chips and mini green salsa and chips good and my coworker liked the beans a lot, but to me... everything was underwhelming. The liquid nacho cheese seemed more like something from a hockey game consession than what I wouldexpect at a Mexican restaurant. Read more
4 of us adults and one 6 year old came for dinner today around 5. It was very quite. 3 or 4 tables including ours, after about... 30 min with not one staff coming to give water or menus. No drink orders nothing, so we had to go up to the bar and orderdrinks.after almost another 20 min, we finally got our first two drinks. Lime Margaret's had absolutely no taste at all... ourfood took even longer to get then the drinks did. When it did finally come it Definitely was not worth the wait at all. I havehad better Mexican food at fast food places...unfortunately this is my first written review, wish I could say some positivehowever that would be a lie.
