This was our second stop for my best friend's birthday wine tour. The dude serving the wine tastings was a very good... conversationalist and hilarious. It was a great way to start our tour. The two Rieslings offered here are both very verygood. They have six big tables inside. They also have a very beautiful view from the windows and a balcony I presume in usewhen it's not snowing. They do a $5 discount from your tasting if you buy a bottle afterwards. It is the standard discount forKelowna wineries. Overall, I highly recommend this winery! Read more

Amazing Riesling from an amazing vineyard. The facility is clean, crisp and modern. It accentuates the Riesling for which they... are so well known. The staff are professional and take pride in their offerings. The Riesling is always a treat. Crisp and tartwith a very subtle sweetness. It gets the salivary glands working and finishes clean. I have been lucky enough to buy vintagesannually for 7 years of both the Riesling and Riesling Lab and am always amazed at the consistency of the Riesling and theabsolutely wild flavors I get from each year?s Lab. First of all, I am not a wine person so going to this winery is like going on a first date. I dont have anything to compare it... to. I came to this winery as part of the MINI United rally. And it was very organized so 1 star for that. The vineyard andbuilding is very simple yet has an elegant vibe to it so another star for that. The staff was just great, bartenders are busywith the people and yet they take the time to answer all my noob question withoit being snobby so that deserves a star. Thewashroom, although single was really clean so 1 star for that. And lastly their white wine and riesling were great so 1 star. Ionly had 2 drinks because they were complimentary and Im here on a smaller budget. I feel bad I didn't leave a tip when ipurchased my wines because of my budget, but i hope this review makes up for it and i will be sure to tell everyone i know tovisit this place when they are in the area. A total of 5 stars for such a great place that i feel values quality over quantity.I also would like to say that the only thing I didn't like was how the stage for the announcement was setup because I felt likeI was looking at the sun but that was probably MINI organizers' idea. My fiancé and I have always had a great experience at Tantalus Vineyards, not only because of the delicious wine, but the... tasting experience itself. Guadalupe in particular is a lovely lady who has done our last few tastings, making the experiencepersonable and special. We have been visiting this winery for a few years now and plan to return in the years ahead. Read more

I?ve tasted at many wineries in the Okanagan and Tantalus is by far one of the best! Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and... answered all of our questions, we tasted a variety of delicious wines (bubbles, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir) and thesetting (wine shop and scenery) were stunning. The experience was well worth the $15 tasting fee we paid ($5 of which wasrefunded with wine purchase). I would definitely recommend a visit to Tantalus if you are in the Kelowna area!!! Read more

Update (in response): The menu did not clearly say $25/pp. Instead, it says $5... The staff did NOT clearly tell us the prices... before seating us. This post is just to inform people that the cost is much higher than other wine tastings around Kelowna. Thisreceipt shows what I paid just for buying 1 bottle of wine. There was 2 people with me, that's it! This is not a restaurantwhere you can order full meals either, so it's very silly to compare to "restaurant prices". Lastly, the liquor tax is eitherincluded in prices or not... this winery chose to add it on top and not explain this anywhere. So yes, it did feel like a scamfor us and not worth the visit. Complete RIP OFF! They scam you so hard by not telling you it's just a $5 rebate and thattastings cost $25/pp. The server did a great job with questions, but that's what tip is for. I got 1 bottle of wine and therewere two people with me and this was the bill. They even charge liquor tax of 10% on top of their prices in which other wineriesinclude the tax price. This is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. Go elsewhere!!! Read more

A must visit East Kelowna estate winery. Modern tasting room with nice patio and views. The labels all feature a unique image of... an indigenous carving. Excellent service and insight from Cory and staff. Dog friendly. Read more
