Clean, super friendly service, the best fries and poutine around. Try JPs Cowboy Candy or Kris Chicken Jalepeno Wrap. You'll... keep coming back for more!! Edited: back again a few years later, and still does not disappoint. Worth the drive from Torontolol. The homemade lime aeoli on the wrap is delicious, JPs cowboy candy still sweet and spicy, and the poutine has wrecked allother poutines for us. And the fish fry.. I don't even like fish usually, but it was so tasty I had to have a couple bites ofmy husband's, much to his dismay. Read more

Great service! I had a poutine, fries were good, gravy ok not what I am necessarily looking for when I have a poutine with the... different spices in it, but still good, just the right amount of gravy. Nice set up and plenty of picnic tables. I would stopagain if I am in Kemptivlle and will try the fish fry if I am there on Friday with all the good reviews I read. Read more

Wonderful service! We were treated like friends and they have a really cute and spacious sheltered area for ordering and... waiting, and picnic tables off to the side. My poutine was tasty, the perfect size and full of cheese, and they have best friesI've gotten from a chip truck in a long time. They were still crispy on the outside and soft in the middle when I ate some of mysister's cold leftovers several hours later. I didn't know that was possible. Wish I still lived in Kemptville so I could visithere all the time like my family does. Read more
I love fry trucks, and I love this place. I have tried many, many fry trucks all over the Ottawa area and in the valley; and by... far this place is in the top two trucks. Their fries are tasty, nicely cooked on the outside but still soft on the inside. Thepoutine was fantastic. They give you a very generous amount of cheese. Far too many trucks give you loads of gravy and littlecheese, but not Chip Chop. They provide with you a great amount of both. So you get cheese in every bite. I also recommendtheir "J.P.s Cowboy Candy". They are candied jalapenos. They are not very hot and they are super flavourful.
