This week's ladies night was at O'Heaphy's and we were not dissapointed. We shared 2 apps (Spinach dip and bruschetta) and 3... meals. Everything was fantastic. We were served by a charming man, who we later found out was the owner. We will definitely beback, as the whole night was such a wonderful experience. Definitely try this place! Read more

I'm here once or twice a month, sometimes more. I got for beer and wings (best in town) as well as full meals, great pub fare.... Friendly staff and lots of regular crowd. Heritage building with a nice bar to sit at. Good place to chat and get to know localfolk. Read more

This place is great! I got there with some friends to eat and have some drinks for a birthday! Sue greeted us and she was a... great server! Food was amazing, home style food I would say and the service was very good! Not from Kemptville but will surelygo back to see Sue soon! Read more

What a terrible experience - never coming here ever again, and I recommend that you don't go here either. A waitress literally... came outside and harassed my colleagues and I after paying our bills. She proceeded to try and shame everybody who hadn't leftat this point into going back inside to tip more money since a single coworker had a hefty bill and barely tipped. Most of usaren't even that close to one another, we just came in all together to celebrate a few co-workers last day at work.... we hadbeen debating doing a bonfire, but decided that supporting the local bar would be a good idea. Well, none of us will ever makethat mistake again. -I have been to O'Heaphy's a handful of times over the years. The food consistently tastes like a pre-madefrozen dinner that you'd get at a the grocery store, but one that you didn't re-heat properly before eating. -Nothing stands outas impressive or even satisfying... it's simply edible (veggies are always soggy or dried out/overcooked and same goes for mostof the meat they serve). -The cocktails are nothing special whatsoever, and lack the proper garnish (speaking from someone whoused to make cocktails in a restaurant for years). -you can literally make a better cocktail at home with little effort andyou'd both save money, as well as save yourself from being berated by their abrasive waitress. No wonder the place looks emptymost of the time. Read more

Just had the best wings I?ve ever eaten. Not out of a box and clearly breaded in house. Then we got the lemon finger bowls. Also... Granville Island Pale on tap. Awesome music on the nice patio from Bruce Liam. Really impressed. Read more

The beer was warm and flat, service was slow (however I was told only 1 person in the kitchen), the oil for the fries was very... much due for a change and my wife found some foreign fluffy object in her food. Overall a very bad experience. If only thebeer choices were beyond the mass produced stuff and cold then maybe I would have considered adding an extra star. Read more

Good spot for a quick bite or pint, O'Heaphy's is a reasonable place to go, but it's showing a little wear and tear and effects... of the last couple years. There's a good-sized patio and ample indoor seating, and a variety of reasonably-priced appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees. Tap selection is all macro brewery, and they have Guinness and Strongbow in the lineup. During ourmost recent visit the food was good, the patio was a really nice spot to sit and take in the day, our server was pleasant, andthe portion sizes were reasonable for the price. On the less awesome side of things the beer was not cold and the wait timeswere long even though there weren't a lot of people. We'll be back, but the experience is a little worn, and a little cleanupand attention to detail would go a long way. Read more

Great first visit to this pub! My boyfriend and I were in town shopping and stopped in for a bite to eat - very impressed with... the service and food. Our waitress was very personable and prompt, and had a nice sense of humour. We felt comfortable. Westarted with a soup (I think it was turkey bacon bean if I recall) and it was great. A nice warm treat on a cold day. We weren'tsuper hungry so we both split the Buffalo wrap. A classic meal at a pub, but I find other places I've tried and it's beenmediocre....this wrap was well done. Atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant was clean. Will be back again when we visitKemptville! Thank you for the service. Read more
