We walked in and there was no sign saying to seat ourselves and we stood there for at least ten minutes while the workers were... in the kitchen messing around. We finally just decided to go sit somewhere and the waitress finally came out to serve us. Thefood was honestly not worth the money. It was pretty gross and the menu was tiny? there wasn?t much to choose from. The beef inmy food was definitely boxed or canned pre packaged food. We waited 5 minutes before anyone told us to seat ourselves then we waited another 5 minutes before we got service. When our... food was delivered we asked her for more napkins and more tarter sauce but never received either one. Our server thought it moreimportant to mop the kitchen floor than to take care of her customers. Had to wrap my chicken in a napkin to take it homebecause our server never returned. Another couple got up and left because they couldn't get service. The whole time we werethere the two servers working spent the whole time in the kitchen acting up and laughing loudly. Our bill was rather cheap for 3 people 25 dollars before tip. The mash potatoes and gravy we okay it would have been way better... with out the awful gravy. The burgers were perfect. Do not order the kids Mac and cheese they precooked it and than stick it inthe microwave and it's kraft Mac and cheese. They charge you extra 1.60 per refill on your drinks which is stated on the menu.It's like a cracker barrel with way less photos on the wall. Read more
The menu found on line is not the same at the restaurant. The Big & Juicy Burger is dry and obviously frozen patties that are... served plain. All additional toppings including cheese are extra, but this detail is left off the menu and wasn't mentioned byour server. Oh, and this is the same sandwich featured on their kid's menu listed as Bobby's Burger. Today, our burgers wereserved way overcooked. I ordered the Breaded Tenderloin. It came so burnt and overcooked I couldn't eat it. But the friedwere decent. A family of five ordered four entrees and received four separate tickets and no drink refills. The floor is slickwith dirt and grime. It obviously hasn't been mopped in days. The men's restroom does not have working lights. Read more
A very nice place to eat when you are in Kendallville. We've eaten there alot when we are in Kendallville.
