?? WARNING?? WARNING?? WARNING?? Stopped for gas, and a cat nap. Had to prepay for the gas, even when paying with a card.... ??????? So, I went in, and I prepaid $30. Pros: good, clean store Cons: At 9am 4 or 5 kids running around in the parking lot,on side of building. No adult supervision. Approx ages 5-10 Half hour after I left, my bank called me. They put a hold on mycard. There was a fraudulent $151 charge on my card, at flying J in Kenly, NC. The ONLY one with access to my card, was the ladybehind the register!!!! Read more
Here to get a shower to start the day, one person ahead in line for a shower, was told by the counter clerk (Maurice) it will be... an hour before a shower will be available. Staff shortage. I've been fueling here for years. Sad. Also, Maurice in his duragneeds to be more professional. Will not be going back. Read more
Charged my card for gas and only $.64 of $40 was pumped. I go to the cashier and they told me that the only thing that they can... do is charge my card again. The young man behind the corner just stopped talking after I denied to have my card charged againand another employee had to step in and give me a number to call to resolve my situation. I left without gas and charged!!! Read more
The inside and outside of the flying j were very clean. The staff was very friendly. Our experience was that we were traveling... late at night and we stopped to rest. Felt very safe and comfortable being there. Parking lot was well lit. Very impressed withhow clean the restrooms were and general cleanliness was really good. I've been in other truck/travel stops and I would saythis is the cleanest. Most places have signage for pet areas this one didn't. We did the responsible thing though ????????. Hadsome fun wondering around the stocks of corn. Highly recommend this place. Read more

The good: ample amount of parking, especially for RV's which is what I'm in on this visit. Dennys on site makes a decent food... option. Of course as per usual Pilot/Flying J fuel prices are highly competitive. Quiet, peaceful place to park overnight. Thebad: stopped here to do laundry, the machines were all out of service. Men's bathroom had a stall out of service. It's curiousthe have two major maintenance issues like this at the same time.
