This place is awesome! So many people have told me to try here because it is good, but after dining there it was the best Indian... food I've had so far. They do an incredible take out business, we were the only ones there for dine in so the service was good.Definitely recommend if you want to try somewhere new. I have gotten take out at this restaurant more than 10 times. I have gotten most every lunch special and every item is amazing!... The chicken Tikka makhani is always amazing, I really like the mushroom chicken which is basically the same but with mushroomsadded. The lamb or beef vindaloo is extremely tasty too along with the kadhi pekora! The naan is alright here, not the best naanI have ever had but still tasty! Many people at work have given Indian food a first try when I get take out here and no one isever disappointed! You simply cannot beat India star for the quality, service, taste, and price. I ordered from Door Dash. One Butter chicken Medium spice 2 piece garlic naan Taste : Butter chicken taste is good. I liked it... it's 7/10. Garlic naan was also good nothing's special. 8/10 Firstly, they say they make butter chicken with grilled chickenthighs for sure it was NOT chicken thighs but CHICKEN BREAST and it was NOT GRILLED. If they used grilled chicken thighs asadvertised the taste of butter chicken would be bang on. Secondly, the quantity is dreadful. Its NOT SUFFICIENT for 1 personand the cost of the dish is $19. Absolutely loved the food and the service here! The Owner is very sweet and good with my kids. She brought my son his own bowl... of rice because he doesn't like to share lol. All 4 of our dishes were amazing and she custom made our dishes to be dairy free. She also brought us some vegan gluten free large crackers to try. This place is the best. Looks unassuming from the exterior. However, inside the have the best Indian food in buffalo. I guess... Kenmore technically. But Kenmore is luck. I wish they would move out to Amherst, like I did a decade ago. I would highlyrecommend the chicken jalfrezi. And all of their breads the alu-paratha in particular. Read more
