I stopped in here on the way home from work today. I took a look at the menu and asked the blonde lady working the outside bar... where the lunch menu was to which she responded "Oh, we're not doing that anymore." The promotion of the lunch menu is a largebanner sign on the side of the building (not difficult to remove if it's no longer valid). Okay moving on... I looked at thebeer menu and asked for a Boundary Bay Amber and she replied "We're out of the amber". At this point I left. In my opinionneither one of these or even the two combined would warrant a 2 star review but the arrogant smug way she informed me of both ofthese is why I'm choosing 2 stars. Read more

I never write reviews, but was unfortunately really disappointed today. The sign said GREAT food! I had been here years before... and enjoyed it, but coming today and ordering a $15 chicken wrap and $16 taco salad, the food was minimal with basic ingredientspulled together and tasteless. The owner?s behavior is unacceptable. I sat down to enjoy a cider and get some work done. The employee I ordered my drink with... was kind and professional, but the owner then came over to me, unprompted, to make jokes about how the service was spotty. Whywould you talk about your own employees like that? I?ve seen the owner make employees do jobs they weren?t hired to do, likemake food when their job is to serve drinks. Additionally, the outdoor seating area is unattractive, smelly, and uncomfortable.The food is overpriced and it doesn?t even deliver? I tried so hard to enjoy this place because I love drinks and good localmusic but the owner alone is too much to deal with and it?s unfortunate?with a little TLC this could be a really popping spot.But unfortunately no one seems to take feedback from customers so nothing seems to improve. Great spot to pull over from the Burke Gilman bike trail and enjoy a cold brew and snack. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating... and room for your bikes, and dog friendly! They also have mixed drinks and cider for those that don?t do beer ???? Read more

This is an absolute local favorite of mine! I can walk there with my dog and we enjoy the outdoor set up with firepits and... caught some great, live music last night. We also go there with the family and kids, everyone has a good time, always. Theatmosphere is wonderful. So many memories there over the years! Read more

Why they have 4 stars I don?t know! This place was full of chilling people! The service was excellent, the beer was delicious,... I ordered the Lazy Boy Huckleberry Belgian YUMMY! We also ordered the Mountain Chicken Nachos, THEY WERE DELICIOUS!! We satoutside, it was a bit cold, but were able to find a table near the fire pit...warm!! ???????? The bathroom was really clean andVERY welcoming! I loved that it had pads and tampons for those emergencies us women sometimes get unexpectedly! Total PLUS forme! I love this place. It?s a nice 3 mile walk. Good beer, dog and kid friendly. Nice staff that puts up with a lot of entitled BS.... But guess what? If you?re nice, they?re nice back.
